KippaRing Village Motel (Near Redcliffe)

Beware! I was expecting the 3 star experience of an ageing regional motel, but this place is a dive and my room was a disgrace. The main room looked clean enough (although very knocked around and with bedside lights that didn’t work, no second pillow etc. etc.) but the bathroom was a disgrace. Chipped and cracked tiles, chipped shower base, and a toilet that had not been flushed, suggesting that it hadn’t been cleaned either. The room wasn’t serviced, and the very limited budget-brand tea/coffee supplies not replenished during my second day. Having said that, I got an envious glimpse into a neighbours room which looked positively glorious by comparison - mine was a Queen, so maybe try for a King room if you must stay here.

Big mistake staying at this motel, or it should be called a hostel for homeless people, yes a lot of the rooms were occupied by permanent residents sitting outside their rooms all hours of the day and night smoking, drinking alcohol, swearing and having load conversations. There were also very small children in nothing more than disposable nappies running around in the carpark unsupervised using it as a playground. The booking we made said free wifi, rooms serviced daily and breakfast available, NONE OF WHICH EXISTS!! We stayed here for two nights, wanted to leave after the first couple of hours but as it was close to where we had to go and there was no other accommodation close by we stayed, BUT WE DID NOT FEEL SAFE!!!! I WOULD CERTAINLY ADVISE THAT IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING BOOKING THIS ESTABLISHMENT PLEASE READ ALL THE SIMILAR REVIEWS TO MINE AND DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
