Beide Zimmer mit Balkon, Stühlen und Tisch. Im Zimmer eine gepflegte kleine Sitzecke. Die Sauberkeit und die Hilfsbereitschaft des Service-Teams für die Zimmer ist grandios. Sofort wurden die zu warmen Decken gegen Sommerinlets ausgetauscht. Jeden Tag frisches Wasser auf dem Zimmer. Die Information-Empfang funktioniert perfekt. Das geschulte Personal, kann Ihnen jede Frage beantworten! Die Küche ist gut, das Essen frisch. Frühstück bis Mittags um 12.00 Uhr - immer alles frisch (dies liegt daran, dass sie Wurst, Käse, Aufstriche und Eierspeisen, am Frühstückstisch bestellen müssen, da nur Backwaren, Müsli, Früchte und Joghurts als Buffet angeboten werden. Es braucht einen Tag, bis man das System versteht, danach weiss man die Frische zu schätzen. Das Bedienpersonal ist stets bemüht, zu erklären, zu helfen. Hier bemerkt man, dass das Konzept des ”Wohlfühlens” überall durchgezogen wird. Das Schwimmbad, die Sauna und die Ruheräume sind jederzeit gepflegt und mit Handtüchern bestückt. Mir fehlte die Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer, wie man das von Sternehotels gewohnt ist, aber Sie können jederzeit im Frühstücksraum und im Ruheraum des Schwimmbades an der Maschine Kaffee;Tee; Schokolade ziehen. Im ”Spiele und Leseraum” erwarten Sie gepflegte, aktuelle Bücher, schöne Spiele und auch Zeitschriften. Ein riesiger Hotelgarten ist bestückt mit Bänken und Liegen. Eine Massage ist sehr zu empfehlen, der Masseur hat goldene Hände und nimmt sich auch Zeit. Die Massage ist wirklich preiswert. Sogar eine elektrische Massageliege für 3 Euro steht zur Verfügung, wer einfach mal entspannen möchte. Nehmen Sie das Entrecote, falls Sie am ABend einmal im Hotel essen wollen, es war riesig und perfekt gebraten. Und zum guten Schluss: Wer die Socken der Firma ”Falke” liebt, kann in 10 Minuten im Fabrikverkauf eine Qualifizierte Beratung erhalten. So macht Einkaufen Spass.

A great city centre from outside, a 90s disaster from inside. The staff was friendly and effortless, but for a house with this classification nothing was fit except the outer appearance. The comfort room should cost 144 euros with breakfast. Yes a castle is old and if restored furniture had been used in the last century, then it would have been a great event time. Unfortunately it was different. Old and unpleasant. After that we asked for an upgrade and it would propose to us a room for 220 euros. Until it was finished for the reference we went to drink coffee. We stayed in the castle cafe on the terrace and wondered that there was no one here except us in the coffee on a beautiful Saturday. Can happen who knows. Then we fell into the expensive room and we almost fell, but larger but equal style that doesn't fit to a well-renoved facility, and again dirty and unpleasant. We thought 5 minutes and then decided to leave. No matter the price of the more offers would have to be than unrenovated 90 style, we didn't feel well. We can't say anything about the restaurant and breakfast, but our personal opinions did not expect anything good for food and drink, but that is only our assessment and no experience. We have been sleeping well and pleasant at home and perhaps the burglar will use the money held from EUR 144 for the first renovation work then it would not be completely lost.

We spent a night here as we were in the area and decided to stay a bit longer, yet didn't want to spend time in the city. Staff was very friendly and professional. Room was clean and the wing we stayed in has been modernized so that means new bathroom and furniture. Oddly they installed a green shag type carpet which seems like it would get dirty easily. Everything was clean and seemed that there was not so many other guests. We did make use of the Sauna, at the time there was only one open and with 4 guests it was a bit crowded in there area since everyone was trying to distance due to Covid. If you can get the area alone is super nice and relaxing. Breakfast was done well and had a nice selection for the size of hotel and number of guests which were around. Easily can have a nice breakfast there, with a nice selection of tea. We enjoyed the stay and the area and hotel was super quiet. There is no minibar but they did offer a self-service honour bar with drinks and snacks after 10pm, so you just help yourself and write down what was taken. Nice touch.

Good service, high standard of rooms and a restaurant the serves very good food. Missing a gym and set-up for ironing of cloths. All public areas and the rooms are in good condition and the bed is comfortable. They could offer pillows with different hardness.

We stayed here for three nights. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast available and easy parking. Fantastic, friendly and extremely helpful staff. Close to shopping areas and tourist attractions. Highly recommended.
