Avoid This Hotel – A Horrible Experience! Worst of Florida.
I strongly advise against staying at the Clarion Inn & Suites. My experience here was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.
The check-in process took an incredibly long time, and when it was finally our turn, the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. At checkout, the unprofessionalism continued, making what should have been a simple process an uncomfortable experience.
To make matters worse, the hotel tried to charge me for towels that were allegedly damaged after my children washed their legs with them after a day at the beach. As an expert in washing, I can confidently say this was a baseless claim. The hotel refunded only half of my deposit, and despite multiple requests for proof (photos and an invoice), they refused to provide any.
Additionally, if a towel is not cleaned properly and still has sandy stains on it, it simply shows that they do not take hygiene seriously when washing. I don’t even want to know how they wash their linens, but I can confirm it must be disgusting. The room itself had an unpleasant odor, and the overall maintenance of the hotel left much to be desired. The surrounding area was also messy and unkempt, which only added to the negative impression.
Stay away from the Clarion Inn & Suites – you deserve better than the poor treatment, lack of hygiene, and dishonest practices that this place offers.
