Hotel Relief Kokura ANNEX

The room was very new and clean, but perhaps because there were many people, the air conditioning wasn't quite strong enough. The staff were very thoughtful and brought us two fans 🫶🏼. The room was spacious enough to open three to four suitcases, and the bathtub was also new and clean, so I enjoyed a bath. However, I didn't see Dettol/Wellman in Japanese supermarkets, so it's best to bring your own if you plan to take a bath. The hotel offers udon, curry rice, and other beverages 24 hours a day, and also provides several types of bread in the morning, which were delicious 😋. There are many restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel, which is super convenient! In the evening, I went to an all-you-can-eat Japanese black wagyu place, and the beef was amazing! 😋😋 If I come to Fukuoka again, I would definitely stay at this hotel!

This hotel feels like it was designed to accommodate dormitory guests, making the most of every space to save costs. I wouldn't recommend it for families, but it's a good option for budget travelers in their twenties looking for cheap dormitory-style accommodation. The breakfast is also extremely basic, offering only the bare minimum for cost-effectiveness.

It's located on a narrow alley and parking is difficult. I sent several emails in advance, but received no reply. I had to wait too long at the check-in counter. It seems suitable for solo dormitory travelers who are looking for value for money. Not recommended for family trips.

The price offers good value for money, but since we arrived in the morning, after storing our luggage, we sat in the lobby for a bit. A front desk lady then came to ask us to leave. We explained that we were checking in that day, but she still wouldn't let us use the tables and chairs, saying we'd have to pay a half-day fee to do so. This left a really bad impression.

I was very satisfied for the price! The location was great, and the unlimited lounge drinks and food service were excellent too.

This was my first time staying here. Even though it was for a business trip, I really enjoyed having access to manga, which felt like a great bonus. There were no major issues, but I found it a bit impractical that parking information could only be obtained at the front desk. I think it would be much more convenient if they could provide information about nearby parking options, especially when their own lot is full.

This was my second time staying here. I really appreciate that I was upgraded from a single room to one with two beds. It was very comfortable. The complimentary drinks and food are incredibly well-stocked for a free service. I'll definitely be back. Regarding cleanliness, I did notice something. I'm not sure if it was from the previous guest, but there were tiny, decorative stone-like pieces scattered near the sofa, which made me a bit concerned about the cleaning. That's why I'm giving this rating.

The room was spacious, and the extra bed we got for our triple room was very comfortable. The toilet and bath were small and a bit old, but considering the price and other services, I don't think it's an issue. It was a great help to have free drinks, bread, and curry available.
