JR Kyushu Station Hotel Kokura

Great location! It's very convenient to get here from Fukuoka by Shinkansen, and to Mojiko by JR. There's also a shopping area right across the street, making shopping and dining easy. The room had a nice view of passing trains. Kokura Castle is within walking distance. Overall, highly recommended!

Excellent location! The hotel is integrated into Kokura Station. The lowest level is a food street, then Kokura Station itself, and Amu Plaza. You can take the elevator to the third floor and walk to the station entrance in just one minute. The hotel staff were professional and attentive, and the room was clean, tidy, and comfortable.

Google Maps is inaccurate; the hotel is right next to the JR station, which is incredibly convenient. The room offered a fantastic view, being on a high floor overlooking a bustling area outside the station. The hotel is quite large, and due to the room type, it was located in a corner, at the very end of the hallway from the elevator. The triple room was spacious, but the bathroom felt a bit old-fashioned and dated. Some minor details were a bit unclean, but no major issues. Kokura is a great place; it's convenient for day trips to nearby areas and also close to Fukuoka. It's pleasant to explore Kokura, and the yakiniku offers good value for money. Breakfast was very substantial, and many Japanese guests were present. The omelet station was a bit chaotic. Overall, it was very good, and I plan to stay in Kokura instead of Fukuoka next time I visit Kyushu, as it's the most affordable option.

Seriously, the value for money here is incredible. It's rare to find a hotel of this caliber at this price, especially in Japan where it's synonymous with spacious rooms, great views, and convenience. The hotel is directly in the same building as JR Kokura Station, sharing the same elevator.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right inside the station concourse, so you don't even need to exit. It's a bit older, but the room was spacious and very clean. Overall, a really good stay.
