We were traveling to Kyushu by car and booked this hotel in Mojiko through Trip.com. The phone number on the hotel confirmation from Trip.com was a mistaken reference to another branch of the hotel. When we entered this phone number into the GPS navigation in the car, we were led to the wrong address of another hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, there was no real receptionist. The check-in was all electronic. We were asked to enter a 6-digit check-in password on the electronic tablet, but I never received the password email as the hotel said, so I couldn't go through the check-in process. I used the intercom outside the door to contact the hotel staff, but no one answered the intercom after pressing it several times. I had no choice but to call the number on the intercom, hoping that the hotel could provide assistance. Finally the call was connected, but the staff who answered the phone had very poor English skills. In the end, he had to use Google Translate to translate for me. Then I realized that the staff had told us that we had found the wrong address, but he did not provide us with any assistance. Then we had to search the hotel information recorded on Google and compare it with the information on the hotel confirmation letter on Trip.com. We found that the hotel phone number on the confirmation letter was different from the phone number on the hotel information found on Google. We found out that it was because of the different phone numbers that the navigation in the car led us to the wrong place. We followed the hotel phone number recorded on Google and entered it into the GPS to find the correct hotel location. When we arrived at the hotel, they also used electronic check-in and required guests to check in by themselves. Since we did not receive the password that the hotel claimed to have emailed to us, check-in failed again. Fortunately, we were able to contact a customer service representative who could speak Mandarin this time. With his help, we were able to complete the check-in process and get the room. It took more than an hour in total, and we were able to settle down and rest very late. The next morning, we were woken up by noise at around 7am because of construction work going on outside the hotel. This stay was such a displeasant experience! !

In conclusion, it was the best accommodation for this trip, but there were a few issues. It clearly says that there is a luggage storage service in the accommodation service details, but when I arrived, it was unmanned and I couldn't receive any service, so I walked around for almost 30 minutes, went back to the JR station, stored my luggage for 700 yen, and started my trip. Something happened that didn't exist Also, there was an issue with the door lock not working in my room. To resolve this, I was able to resolve the issue within an hour by talking to the manager (the door did not close tightly, so I had to push it with force) The room condition was excellent and everything in the bathroom and toilet was good. There were some inconveniences, but I spoke to the master and he said he would fix it, so I think it will be a better hotel.

It feels like an apartment, and is nice and clean. There is no front desk, but you can check in using the tablet at the entrance and check out using the tablet in your room. If you need to confirm anything, you can call or email using the tablet in your room. If you need something urgent, like extra towels, it may be difficult to deal with as there is no staff at the front desk. It's within walking distance of Moji Station, which was helpful!

Facilities and sanitation are good! Without speaking Japanese, self-service check-in is difficult!

I'm very surprised, the room is quite big, the hotel is very smart, self check-in is available! There are not many tourists in Mojiko, so I highly recommend it!
