"This was my 2nd hostel in Vienna. The 1st one I chose next to Haupbahnhoff. It was OK but the room was 6 people mixed dormitory, it was only 5 of us but I was the only girl, there was no option to choose gender...so next time I booked this hostel and girls only room, 4 bed, ended up only 3 girls and it was a massive difference. 1st of all I felt much calmer and safer and even though both girls woke up rather early, guys tended to sleep till last minute, they were just very quiet sleepers so I felt very comfortable. Next time I think I will always choose girls dormitory. The room was also rather spacious with plenty of space to walk around plus toilet and shower were separate compared to the other hostel. There were no towels provided in either of the hostels...I'm not sure if it might have been offered at the reception? It's not really convenient to go back to reception to ask once you are in the room. In both hostels one had to put on and take off the sheets, duvet and pillow covers...which is OK if it saves money. Reception, kitchen areas felt very comfortable and people chilled there in the mornings, evening and afternoons. Breakfast seemed OK, i dint take it though because I wanted to have one in the city."
