"Very nice and well equipped hotel with good service. The staffs are great and the breakfast is excellent. We’ve stayed more than 10 days in a family suite at the 56th floor and have felt the warm welcome everywhere, from staffs of different levels including the lobby manager, the reception and Ms Wang, the lady in charge of the cleaning of our room. Hotel is clean, quiet and the breakfast is excellent. More than that, this hotel is equipped also with free laundry self service(very practical for long stay), fitness center and a free coffee area in the lobby with good coffee and tea, even with various jams to taste.  The hotel is not in the downtown area but the subway line No 2 is just 100 m from the hotel and can take you easily and quickly to the downtown. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay in this lovely hotel next time when I come back to Guiyang with my family."

"This hotel is perfectly located right downstairs from famous attractions like the White House and the Twin Towers. You can just step outside and snap some amazing photos. Plus, the hotel has its own laundry room with both a washer and dryer, which is incredibly convenient for travelers – no more lugging around dirty clothes! It's such a relief. The room amenities are also super complete; you really don't need to bring anything extra. Especially cool is being able to control the lights just by calling out to Tmall Genie. It's smart and convenient – definitely a godsend for lazy people like me!"

"I'm a local Guiyang native, and I booked this hotel specifically for a friend visiting from Chongqing. I've stayed at Sofitels in many places like Guangzhou, Tianjin, and Nanjing, but the Guiyang Sofitel truly stood out. First, upon check-in, the lobby immediately hit me with a high-end scent, completely different from the cheap, generic fragrances found in other hotels or malls. Sofitel genuinely excels in its choice of perfumes. Then, the front desk attendant's service was excellent—she efficiently and quickly processed my room card. The room itself was much better than the Kempinski's. Guiyang truly deserves these 'new-generation' luxury hotels; their hardware equipment is miles ahead of older brands like Kempinski. The location is also superb. Honestly, Guiyang isn't a huge city, but it's rare to find a hotel that's only two or three kilometers away from all the main attractions. Lanvin toiletries are standard at Sofitel, and I absolutely love them, both for their scent and brand prestige (or perhaps, both their image and substance). Now for the hotel's downsides. Firstly, the room was indeed a bit small, feeling a bit cramped compared to other Sofitels. Also, Guiyang's infrastructure isn't great; from a high vantage point, you mainly see old, dilapidated buildings. Of course, I understand this isn't the hotel's fault, as Guizhou has only recently begun to develop. However, my immediate impression wasn't the best. I think the main issue is that Guiyang doesn't need 'old money style' hotels. Despite being relatively new, Sofitel still feels somewhat old-fashioned in its elevators and room decor, lacking in design. It felt like a rather ordinary five-star hotel, not particularly surprising. I felt similarly uncomfortable with the Guiyang Kempinski at the same price point – its room equipment was too old, offering nothing but 'old money' vibes. I hope Sofitel doesn't become like that. I wish the hotel would put more effort into room renovations and small design details to give guests a more youthful, updated, and distinct experience. Overall, this stay was good, but not exceptionally surprising. I hope my next stay brings an even better experience."

"Had a great stay! The facilities are new and well-maintained. The room was clean, tidy, well-designed, and spacious. Even though it faced a busy street, it wasn't noisy at all. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants nearby offering a wide variety of choices. Public transport is super convenient, with bus and subway stations right around the corner, making it easy to get anywhere. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and always smiling. A special shout-out to the lovely lady at reception who helped open the door for me when I checked out this morning – thank you!"

"This hotel was booked for this trip. The facilities are very complete and the staff is considerate. Both the staff in the lobby and the aunt in the housekeeping department are very enthusiastic, proactive, polite and friendly, and feel at home! The self-service coffee on the first floor is very convenient, and the breakfast is also delicious. "Would definitely stay here again, I had a great view from my room, and the building is tall enough that you can see pretty far out. The breakfast was up to par for CN standards, had a made to order noodle bar. Very comfortable and spacious overall, not just the room, but common areas as well, (oh and they have good coffee with a selection of Monin syrup and a variety of quality tea bags, self-serve in the lobby 24/7). They also had free laundry/dryer at the 3/f, with detergent. On the second night of a 2 night stay, there was torrential rainfall throughout the night, including thunder and lightning; the power went out twice in the whole area, at least several city blocks; there basically wasn’t anything the hotel could do about it. But all the emergency backup lighting and signage were all working properly, both in the room and in the hallway, so that was surely good. 小周 at the front desk was quite helpful and sincere, props to them, they were also super apologetic about the power outage (even though it was in no way their fault). Great stay!"

"Gongyu Home truly strikes a perfect balance between understated luxury and art! The log cabin-style rooms are full of design flair, and the 4K projector and soft bedding make for a super comfortable stay. The butler service is attentive and thoughtful, and the free parking downstairs is a huge plus. The location is convenient, with many delicious restaurants and a food street nearby. Hygiene is impeccable, with individually packaged toiletries. The entire experience was excellent, and the value for money is superb. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"The room was very satisfactory. I booked a quiet room at the beginning. The front desk helped me upgrade the room for free. They also cleaned the room carefully. The room was equipped with disposable items. It was very convenient to travel around. Minsheng Road Food Street, Dashizi, Jiaxiu Tower and other attractions are all within walking distance. It is recommended. Except that the place is hard to find. When you see the frog fish head, you can go in the gate next to it."

Even though it's only a two-story hotel, it's fully equipped with everything you could need. Parking was convenient, and the location is absolutely fantastic!
