"My stay at the Sheraton Jinan Hotel was excellent! The hotel is conveniently located at No. 8 Longao North Road, Lixia District, right next to the Olympic Sports Center. The surrounding area offers a wide range of amenities and is very easy to get around. The staff were warm and attentive, and the check-in process was swift. The rooms were stylish and spacious, with very comfortable bedding and a well-designed bathroom featuring separate wet and dry areas. Dining options are diverse; the breakfast buffet offers a delightful mix of Chinese and Western cuisine. The Chinese restaurant serves authentic Lu (Shandong) cuisine, and the Western restaurant also offers excellent steak. The hotel boasts comprehensive facilities, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a fitness center. Overall, the experience was fantastic. Any minor imperfections didn't detract from the enjoyment, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit."

"When it comes to prime locations, no one beats the Shangri-La. Both the spring and city views are absolutely stunning. The Baotu Spring offers unique beauty in every season, and Quancheng Square is consistently spacious and prominent year-round. The hotel has been open for some years now. The public areas and facilities are still quite good, but the in-room amenities are rather outdated. The room isn't huge, and the bathroom feels a bit cramped. For the same room type, the InterContinental's bathroom design is much more practical. The in-room equipment definitely shows its age, though it's maintained reasonably well, and the cleanliness is excellent. The shower is ancient, lacking a rain shower head, and the handheld shower is difficult to use; no matter how I adjusted it, it sprayed towards the wall, making showering quite a hassle. The drainage isn't very smooth either. Even the clothes hangers are worn out but still in use. The complimentary drinking water is the cheapest kind available, and the dental kit is practically unusable. Shangri-La, can't you procure some better quality items? These aren't even expensive. Otherwise, you'll lose all your guests. I called guest services twice from the room phone, and no one picked up. It's quite surprising to encounter such a flaw in a five-star hotel. However, the overall service at Shangri-La is very good. The staff are warm, attentive, and polite. The Christmas atmosphere on the ground floor, both inside and out, is very festive. The excellent location significantly enhances the value for money at Shangri-La Jinan."

"The Executive Lounge was a bit of a headache. I took my child there in the evening for a drink, poured a glass of wine, and halfway through, my child suddenly had a stomach ache. I wanted to take the rest of the wine to the room, but the staff firmly refused to let me take it away. I then asked to speak to the manager, who was even more serious, stating that the wine glass was a fixed asset and if I took it, their salaries would be docked. I really want to know if they were just making up an excuse to fob me off, or if an InterContinental hotel truly inventories glass items so strictly that a missing one would lead to salary deductions. Besides, it would still be in a hotel room, right? If it wasn't there when I checked out, couldn't they just charge the customer from the pre-authorization? On a positive note, Xiao Meng at the breakfast buffet restaurant was incredibly warm and responsible. I forgot my glasses, and she specifically called to confirm and immediately brought them to my room, ensuring I didn't miss my flight. I wouldn't have even known where I lost them if she hadn't said anything. Other things were also done very well, like turning on the electric heater and preparing children's amenities in the room in advance."

"The aircon was not working but the Front Desk staff was very cooperative and seeing my discomfort upgraded me to Suite … The house keeping staff on my floor no.14 was also excellent and very helpful ✌🏻👍🏻"

"This is the fifth time we have stayed at this hotel. Every time we go to Jinan, we always come here. Location is excellent - right on the beautiful canal and a short walk to both Daming Hu and the food street. The hotel service is excellent - quick check in, any request promptly dealt with. The cleaning staff were so friendly and helpful - my wife lost her watch in the room and the cleaner took extra time to help her look and find it. We stayed in one of the hotel's newly renovated suites - great facilities and amazing view of the lake. I would definitely recommend upgrading to one of you stay. Breakfast has a wide range of tasty options - recommend the freshly made jianbing and roujiamou. The restaurant also has an excellent evening buffet - for a very reasonable price you get a great range of food including seafood, hotpot and barbecue - an drinks are included as well. Overall another fantastic stay at this hotel and looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend this place!"

"Booked a 2 bedroom room (with washing machine). The initial room assigned to us was stuffy, not cold and basin was leaking. The staff assisted by changing us to another 2 bedroom room. I would like that their service is good and they resolved the issue efficiently. No issue with new room, happy with daily housekeeping. They provided us sufficient drinking water daily. Definitely a good place to stay! Highly recommended!"

"The rooms have an antique charm. Although it's located near the lively and bustling Daming Lake, Qushuiting Street, and other scenic areas and streets, the guesthouse itself is very quiet, and the overall experience was excellent. Upon arrival, staff greeted us at the entrance and led us directly to our room. After a brief introduction, we checked in. Stepping outside, you're right on a bustling and lively street. Breakfast is served individually, with wontons. The wontons are quite large; I just wish there was a small condiment bar where we could add some vinegar, salt, and other seasonings ourselves. I'd love to stay here again next time I'm in the area ❤️"

"The service are 5 stars plus. The hotel sent us insightful information such as checkin &checkout time, approximate commute time and cost from the railway station or airport, laundry room/gym location, and the breakfast hours. The late night snack won ton soup is tasty, and they sent us a message to remind us the checkout time and encourage us to contact the front desk for late checkout requests. After we checked out, the front desk manager even help to roll our luggage’s out. The breakfast area offers decent variety and they are tasty."
