"Traveling during the off-season 🏃 was incredibly comfortable! This is an old-school state guesthouse, nestled against Dawang Peak, boasting a superb natural environment. The room layout was also very comfortable. The hotel grounds felt extensive enough for a half-day stroll, and a walk up the back hill was quite enjoyable. Plus, there's a cute little dog! 🐶"

"Probably one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The service was impeccable—from the beginning the hotel staff was very responsive via WeChat, answering all my questions about Wuyishan, arranging train station pickup, booking Impression Dahongpao tickets on our behalf. When we first arrived at the hotel, the staff was extremely welcoming, serving us Rougui tea and patiently going over our travel itinerary for the day. Every request we made was honored. They added an extra bed to a room to accommodate a 3rd guest, prepared a vegetarian meal for a vegetarian in our group, and cooked a warm black sugar coca cola drink to help soothe my dad's throat, who was coughing pretty severely. Overall, I've never experienced better service at a hotel. The facilities themselves are breathtaking. The pond outside, the tea terrace, the interior decoration, the room furnishings... the style is ”traditional modern”, mostly wood and stone but very classy and comfortable. We came during an off-season, so the hotel was serene and peaceful at night. The location is also quite convenient: around 10 minutes by Didi from the main restaurant district and 15 minutes from the South Entrance of the scenic area."

"Da Fang Ju offers an elegant, clean environment with attentive service and all the little amenities you could need. The food is delicious, especially their bamboo shoot and pork buns – so fresh and generously portioned! The cats in the pet area are also incredibly cute. I hope to visit again next time. This guesthouse is highly recommended."

"The entire room including the toilet was very clean and looked almost brand new. It was easy to get to the hotel from Nanpingshi Station by taking K1 and following the directions sent by the staff. There are also free local buses very near the hotel to get to the bamboo raft pier and to the scenic area south entrance. There are also many eateries around. One staff member was particularly helpful - she showed me how to use a WeChat app to find the bus stops/routes/timing which was very useful in helping get around and also to rush down to the bus stop on my departure day so I could catch K1 back to Nanpingshi Station. She was wearing a light purple jacket (not sure if her name is Xiao Yang?) and the other staff could certainly do with her enthusiasm in helping and engaging the guests."

"Location is great, we arrived at night just on time for a night stroll full of colourful lights and great street food. The rooms are spacious and clean, staff are very attentive and helpful. Breakfast is what you would expect, eggs and local bread are all we need but you do find cereals, chinese porridge and fruits."

"I was on a business trip to Nanping and decided to stay at the Holiday Inn for easy access to Wuyishan Airport the next day. The environment was great. Since I was traveling with two foreigners, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a duplex room and even prepared a thoughtful gift – a women's dress set, which I thought was for photo ops. Later, my colleague told me that Holiday Resorts usually provide gifts that guests can take home. Haha, I guess I'm out of the loop; I'll definitely take it with me next time I stay!"

"Our family trip to Wuyi Mountains led us to the Wuyi Mountain Tianze Garden Villa Hotel, and it exceeded our expectations! 🏡 The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches evident everywhere. The garden view was serene and beautiful, and our child had a blast chasing butterflies there. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel cared for from check-in to check-out. The facilities were also comprehensive, perfectly meeting the needs of our family. We'll definitely choose this place again on our next visit to Wuyi Mountains, highly recommended for families with kids!"

"The landlady was very thoughtful and upgraded both our rooms to a better type, each with a balcony perfect for enjoying tea and the view. The rooms were cozily decorated and well-equipped, especially the toiletries kit, which was a very clever touch. The guesthouse itself is adorned with a lot of local character. For tea lovers, there's an endless supply of Dahongpao tea here. The guesthouse's location is excellent, close to all the attractions. There are also plenty of parking spaces; we even had an RV with us this time and were able to park it without any issues. Both the owner and landlady are very polite, and the owner even helped us with our luggage, which was incredibly considerate. Plus, there are dedicated cleaning staff who tidy the rooms daily. Wuyishan is so vast; we only stayed for three days and barely scratched the surface. We'll definitely choose this guesthouse again if we pass through here in the future. I'd estimate you'd need at least a week to fully explore Wuyishan."

"This hotel deserves a five-star review! My trip to Wuyishan was made so comfortable and hassle-free by Jinjiang Metropolo, it completely exceeded my expectations! The hotel has a free tea room on the ground floor, so you can sit down and enjoy tea anytime after checking in. The authentic Wuyi rock tea has a rich aroma. Brewing a pot during leisure time helps shed the fatigue of travel and allows for an immersive experience of the local tea culture – it was truly delightful. The staff provided incredibly attentive service. They proactively helped plan my travel itinerary, clearly outlining the order of attractions and transportation methods. They also accurately recommended authentic local restaurants frequented by locals, helping me avoid tourist traps and enjoy delicious, affordable meals, completely solving any dining dilemmas during my trip. The Da Hong Pao tea sold at the hotel is of superior quality. After trying it, I immediately bought some. It's perfect for personal consumption or as a gift, with guaranteed authenticity, so there's no need to bother searching for specialty stores. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The hotel's location is close to both the scenic area and the old street, making getting around very convenient. The entire experience was excellent, with thoughtful service and a rich tea culture atmosphere. This is definitely my top choice for a trip to Wuyishan, and I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it to all tea lovers and travelers!"
