"The location is excellent: within walking distance of the metro station and the ancient wall, the Bell Tower can be reached on foot too if you don’t mind a little stretch. The owner is super responsive via text. Price is honestly too cheap for this location. Room is clean, spacious and comfy. Multiple convenience stores just off the elevator on ground level. The only downside is that the apartment is a little hard to find. We called the owner and he came down to take us to the room. I would recommend arriving during daytime hours for this reason. Owner is super helpful. Will definitely stay again next time I visit Xi’an."

"We stayed in the tatami room, which was nice, but be aware it's on the top floor (4th, I think) with no elevator. Lovely and airy, with lots of glass, but it does get hot as a result. Unfortunately we could not get the air conditioning to work on the first night, but it was fixed when we pointed it out (I'm pretty sure it was broken, as the controls were pretty simple). The couple who ran this were very friendly, though I didn't manage to get any reply to my messages on WeChat - not a big thing, but for non-Chinese speakers, it was super useful everywhere else. The door was also shut when we arrived late (22:00 - which was when we said we'd arrive, but still late), and they'd stayed up for us. Overall the room was perhaps not quite as nice as the photos make it look, but the friendliness of the couple running it made up for it!"

"The location is incredibly convenient! Right outside Exit B of Longshouyuan Station on Metro Line 2, you'll find the hotel. This was a lifesaver for someone like me who easily gets lost! It's quick and easy to get to the Bell Tower, Muslim Quarter, and the high-speed train station. The hotel definitely has a classic, 'old-money' charm. Initially, I thought the facilities might be a bit dated, but they are actually very well-maintained. Overall, the service was truly commendable. As soon as you approach the hotel, staff are there to help with your luggage, and the front desk handled things very smoothly. What truly impressed me was the exceptional daily housekeeping. Whether we were in the room or not, they would consistently come to replace disposable amenities and towels, and tidy up. Another highlight for me was the heated swimming pool. We brought our child on this trip, and they went there every single day! Even though it was a bit chilly these past few days, the heated pool meant it didn't affect our enjoyment at all. Overall, it's definitely worth recommending. It might not be the best fit for young people seeking the latest tech gadgets or a super modern feel, but it's very suitable for family trips or business travel."

"We stayed one night in this place due to its proximity to terracotta warriors monument and the show. We stayed with my wife and one year old daughter in the rooms of the second floor. The experience was great. An interesting feature of the hotel is that it is at the top of a food building/market place so entering it was different but very easy. Recommended for those planning to see the show and do a morning walk in the park the next day."

"This B&B truly lives up to its reputation as Xi'an's 'most beautiful B&B'. The design is incredibly unique. My room, 'Mijian', was on the top floor. Besides the distinctive room design, there's a rooftop garden, which is truly the most beautiful part. However, Xi'an in summer is too hot to spend time outdoors during the day. Otherwise, I would have loved to enjoy an afternoon tea in the garden, chatting with friends and family. Nevertheless, I still managed to enjoy a bubble bath in the rooftop garden. I'll definitely aim to visit again in spring or autumn next time; I'm sure it would offer a different experience. The host was exceptionally kind, helping with luggage and providing great travel and dining recommendations. The only minor inconvenience is its location in the Muslim Quarter, where cars aren't allowed to enter. This meant we had to haul our luggage from an outside parking lot to the B&B, which was quite a challenge, especially in the scorching summer heat. The room was incredibly well-equipped, with everything from small details like disposable towels and a sewing kit, to a large projection screen, and even unlimited mineral water and Bingfeng (a local Xi'an soda). Overall, it was a great experience.👍"

"The little cat was absolutely adorable! The room was nice, and the owner was incredibly friendly. However, the Xiaonanmen area felt a bit chaotic and not very safe at night. There were people drinking downstairs, some even passed out on nearby benches. Past midnight, I'd often hear loud noises from cars or motorcycles revving their engines nearby – it was quite annoying. Despite that, the hotel itself felt very secure with its double door locks, and the sound insulation was decent. In the mornings, you could hear some street vendors calling out. And finally, the owner even gave me a small gift upon checkout!"

"My overall experience at this five-star hotel was absolutely wonderful. I especially loved the marshmallow-soft bed – once you lie down, you won't want to move! It provided excellent relaxation for my tired body after a full day of exploring the Terracotta Warriors. I always enjoy staying in hotels with unique and stylish designs, and I took many photos here because every corner was exquisitely beautiful. The hotel boasts an excellent central location, right next to the bustling and vibrant Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City. Despite its prime spot, it was incredibly quiet in the room – I couldn't hear any noise from outside the window while sleeping. Occasionally, I'd hear conversations from people passing by in the hallway, but it wasn't disruptive. The suite was spacious, and the in-room amenities were comprehensive, including an iron and ironing board. The only minor suggestion would be to upgrade the quality of the combs provided, which would make it even more perfect. Breakfast was served until 10:30 AM, which I found very thoughtful as it allowed for a leisurely 'beauty sleep' before heading down to enjoy a late breakfast. The restaurant staff were welcoming and helpful, and there was a wide array of delicious dishes. Despite my 'eyes being bigger than my stomach,' I managed to pick my favorites and arrange a delightful plate. As I arrived late, the staff had already begun clearing up and cleaning as breakfast service concluded. I enjoy taking photos, and after finishing my meal, I wanted to capture some shots of the restaurant's ambiance. I noticed the staff, having finished cleaning, were diligently preparing and arranging the dishes for lunch. During the time I spent taking photos, I inadvertently observed the professionalism and high standards of the restaurant staff. In the bread and western food section, a young chef was meticulously setting up the bread display. His full protective gear – hat, mask, and gloves – was impeccable, which immediately reassured me about the hygiene standards. He politely moved aside when he saw me taking photos. Later, as he placed a chef figurine and prepared to leave, I gestured for him to be in a picture. He very cooperatively posed. The photo showed him using his gloved right hand to arrange the bread, while his ungloved left hand was behind his back (he had been wearing gloves on both hands earlier and likely removed one after finishing the display). This small detail underscored his meticulousness and commitment to hygiene. After taking the photo, I thanked him, and he politely replied, 'You're welcome.' I also want to mention another detail I observed: while he was arranging the display, an older, presumably senior chef came over and made some minor adjustments to the arrangement. This chef moved all the food items slightly forward and meticulously explained to the young chef that placing them closer to the front would make it more convenient for guests to access them. All these small details I witnessed truly showcased the professional quality of the staff. Thumbs up!👍 If any hotel staff read this review, please extend my high praise to both chefs in the restaurant. I hope it encourages them to love what they do even more, knowing that their efforts are seen, appreciated, and applauded. Finally, I had misremembered the check-out time. I was leisurely packing my bags, thinking check-out was at 2 PM. Around 1 PM, the hotel front desk proactively messaged me on WeChat, asking if I needed assistance with a late check-out. Upon learning I was leaving, they also asked if I required a concierge colleague to help with my luggage. The high-quality, polite, friendly, and enthusiastic service from all staff members made me feel truly valued and provided a VIP experience. Additionally, the hotel features its own museum with beautiful exhibits. It's a wonderful place to quietly admire the items and discover the beauty in each one – you're sure to find something you absolutely love. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel ✔️ and look forward to staying here again! Goodbye Xi'an, I will definitely be back."

"This was our first time visiting Xi'an, and we chose this homestay. Our entire family was absolutely delighted. Traveling with children, our top priorities are hygiene and quietness, and this place was not only spotlessly clean but also wonderfully peaceful. The owner was exceptional – easygoing yet thoughtful, deeply knowledgeable about traditional culture, and genuinely kind-hearted. The local recommendations they gave us were perfect for the authentic Xi'an experience we were hoping for. When we bought some local pastries for our friends, the owner was so considerate, kindly helping us store them in the kitchen fridge. In the evenings when we returned, they invited us for tea, chats, storytelling, and even introduced us to the art of incense (xiangdao). In just a few short days, we became good friends. Our child didn't want to leave and strongly insisted on staying a few more days! It was a truly happy and relaxing trip to Xi'an, offering a wonderfully carefree experience. Xi'an, we will definitely be back! And we'll absolutely stay at Guan'erjie again!"

"We love this hotel! The location is great, once we stepped out from the hotel we could reach a few popular attractions. It was a pleasant stay with all the amenities they provided. In the room there were beverages in the fridge for us and small snacks on the table, all free of charge. We could have noodle as supper, it was tasty we like it! At the lobby area they have unlimited of ice cream and sour plum drink for all guests. I booked a one~day tour via them, it was hassle free and no hard sell by the agent. I will definitely re-book this hotel if we visit Xi’an again!"

"Stayed over Christmas and was a really great stay with everything I needed. Lovely staff who were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was simple but nice. Rooms were large with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Was in a fairly good location. Easy to get to."
