London Hotels with Kitchens

"Pros: - Decently sized, standard layout and comfortable rooms. - Rooms are quite clean, service in general was nothing too special but gets the job done! - Convenient location near buses and metro to Central London / Oxford for a day trip, close to Westfield London which has great number of F&B outlets, supermarkets and shops. Cons: - Housekeeping was inconsistent; stayed for 6 days, everyday was missing something different, not being replenished in the room; could be tea, coffee, hand towels, tissue paper, toilet paper etc… had to keep calling for service every night throughout the stay. If housekeeping had set up the room in standard, hassle could be alleviated from all parties as it takes the housekeeping more than 20 minutes every time to bring the items. - Both toilet paper rolls were removed unexpectedly one night, even when we certainly left the room with them both in the morning which I find a bit funny as there wasn’t even a need to replenish - but simply removed. - Clock timing was incorrect 6 days throughout the stay and nobody clocked that nor changed it. - Slight wear and tear in the room but nothing too major affecting our stay apart from the bathtub glass panel seam being broken and water kept coming out of the shower. - Emergency alarms went off at 730AM with no explanation. - There was daily construction noise and one day the workers and equipments were all outside our room for a good 4 hours in the morning to afternoon time. Again, I don’t blame it because maintenance is important but a notice would be nice. Overall, I think the hotel gets its job done, the room and location were decent and comfortable. It’s the housekeeping and maintenance fell below expectations."

"Yep was a very nice hostel Location is perfect! Price was brilliant! Only downside was no curtains on the bunkbeds and maybe a slightly strange gabble of people in my room…but great value for money"

"I arrived at London Heathrow on a late flight. From there, I took the Heathrow Express directly to Paddington Station, followed by about a 15-minute walk to the hotel (or just a single Tube stop). The hotel boasts a very central location with excellent transport links. The Edgware Road station for the Bakerloo line is directly opposite, and just a two-minute walk further provides access to the Circle and District lines. The lobby decor was of a good 4-star standard, but the rooms felt more like a 3-star, and the shower cubicle was particularly cramped. During my 6-day stay, I didn't encounter any Chinese-speaking staff, but a very kind curly-haired lady at the front desk assigned me a room with a fantastic view, offering magnificent panoramas of the London skyline. The daily breakfast was extensive and offered a wide variety of choices. Overall, it's a safe, convenient, and recommendable hotel."

"Located at the shopping area... selfridges, M&S, Primark and many more. Counter staff were helpful... a blonde lady was very sincere and kind to do a lot without asking. Hotel is a bit used with only one escalator going up and I pity those walk down the long stairs everyday. Yes, they have a elevator tug at the back for the luggage but... anyway, the hotel attracted lots of Arabs in a big groups and i saw people come in for corporate events. Its a very busy hotel and crowded."

"I always stay at this hotel every time I go to London. It is right outside the subway station, opposite Trafalgar Square, and only a dozen minutes' walk from Chinatown and Soho. The Thames is just a few minutes in the opposite direction, and Big Ben and the London Eye can be seen in ten minutes. However, among hotels with the same geographical location and comfortable environment, this one is the cheapest! !"

"The hostel is clean, very well located, and offers great value for money. The service attitude is excellent. The location is unbeatable, right next to the British Museum, making everything easily accessible. The staff are incredibly friendly. Management is also quite good. You can even cook here, and I particularly liked the shared showers and toilets. The only downsides are that the kitchen can get crowded with so many people cooking, and there are often groups waiting to check in because of the high guest volume, haha. Also, it would be great if the bunk beds had a bit more space between them, haha, though that might be asking for too much!"

"Although the price is high, the room is arranged in the basement But when I arrived at 10:00 am, the front desk immediately asked me to wait to arrange my check-in. Although the waiting time was long, I was very grateful that I didn't have to wait until 2 pm to check in. The room is large. Although there is no window, it is very comfortable to live in. The soundproofing is also good. There is also 24-hour free coffee. It is a pleasant accommodation experience"

"I was a little hesitant after reading the reviews before checking in, but I still believed in SLH's positioning and quality, and I was not disappointed. The location is excellent and convenient for travel. There is Harrods and many popular dessert shops right outside. Because I had experienced the poor environment of the London Underground and it was often delayed and stopped, I took the bus this time. It was very convenient. Bus 14, 22, and 19 on Brompton Street can basically cover various attractions in downtown London, and you can enjoy the scenery along the way. The hotel adheres to SLH's consistent low-key luxury style. The living room on the first floor feels like home. The water bar, white coffee, and night wine are available for guests to enjoy. The cost depends on the amount and room number of the bill. Breakfast is a buffet with both English and American options. The hotel's butler service is great!"
