"I appreciate the charm of an older building with this style, but you have to accept its drawbacks. For instance, when housekeeping on the floor above moves furniture, it creates a lot of noise, and powder can sometimes shake loose from the ceiling's brickwork. The soundproofing isn't great either. One leg of the living room sofa was broken, and I'm not sure if the TV screen was damaged or if it was a signal issue. The shower door didn't close properly, so water would spray out, and the water pressure wasn't very strong. The bed, however, was very comfortable."

"We had a truly wonderful Christmas Eve stay at The Lowry Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. Our room was absolutely beautiful — spacious, stylish, and perfectly prepared for a festive getaway. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, with plenty of choice and great quality throughout. "Great location for easy access to shops, transport and activities. Stayed for a night, early or extended check in/checkout for £10 extra which is really good. Lovely staff everyone’s nice. complimentary croissant and coffee in the mornings. Clean room, clean bathroom, very spacious, the kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the beds are comfortable."

"This is a standard hostel. To be honest, there's a live house right downstairs. The front desk staff told me it's a great bar, but since I was traveling alone, I didn't try it for safety reasons. It was quite noisy in the room at night, but I'm not sure if it was because I was so tired from the day, but I fell asleep instantly and slept really well. The location is excellent, right in the busiest part of town."

"This was by far the most frustrating accommodation experience during my trip to the UK. It's not really a hotel, more like a guesthouse or an apartment rental. The entire check-in process was self-service with no one to assist. We had to do a ton of online registration, including scanning all passports and credit cards. The credit card process even triggered an SMS verification, which was impossible for us to receive since we had already switched to UK-based cards. To make matters worse, there are absolutely no signs for this 'hotel' within the building; it's all labeled with the apartment building's name. No one tells you this is actually where you're supposed to be. The online photos also don't match the actual setup of the ground floor. After finally completing all the registration and getting the code, we then had to find a key box in a really obscure spot. Overall, it was incredibly inconvenient and unclear. We wasted a whole hour just trying to figure out how to get the key. While the Trip.com customer service did offer some support, they couldn't reach the local hotel manager, making the whole situation feel helpless. The room itself was indeed large and new, with heating, but the entire check-in and check-out process compared to other places is a massive waste of guests' time and energy. Especially trying to get in late at night, in what felt like a not-so-safe neighborhood."

"Location is great, easily walkable to Piccadilly. Room space is great, but the facilities aren’t fantastic. The lights in the corridor totally black out in the middle of the night and is motion sensor, but the first instant when you open your door, it is pitch black. Room service is not 24hours and they take super long to respond to your request."

"This hotel is situated at the heart of Manchester City centre, where there are lots of good restaurants and cafes nearby. It is of close proximity to the University of Manchester and you can visit some of the museums, famous places like Albert Square, Manchester Cathedral, etc. Highly recommended for everyone travelling to Manchester."

"Our stay was great, the amenities and resources provided work exactly as they should, the bed was comfortable, however my fiancée (who is a cleaner herself) noticed that areas of the kitchen appliances had collected quite a bit of dust. The location of the hotel is great, just a short walk away from Manchester Piccadilly itself. Other than certain aspects of cleanliness, the rest was spot on and the stay was great."

"A great apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed was really comfortable. Only issue we had was with the patio doors onto the balcony were not easy to use but we worked it out in the end. Would 100% stay again."

"The location is good but the room is not good. Toilet has very strange noise and the service is just plain. Generally, it is ok if you would like to save money but you should not expect a very good experience because it only could make you have a in-room overnight."
