"hotel was conveniently situated near the entrance of nara park and the shrine. deers right outside hotel. hotel staff were very friendly and explained details well. only down side of the room was that the air conditioning/heater was centrally controlled. we had to open the windows at night or else it will be too stuffy. however there were a few trucks who will come by at night around 4-5am to deliver goods and it will create noise. overall rooms were great. however will likely choose another place to stay in nara :)"

"The hotel is located right next to Nara Park, but it's a 20-minute uphill walk from Nara Station, which can be quite tiring if you're lugging luggage. The room is a good size, and I appreciate the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom."

"It’s a really lovely old Japanese house, but it’s really not been made over into a guest house at all. 1. There are pictures of a bath. It is not in the hotel it is just a separate public bath you have to pay for… 2. They charge for everything including “renting” towels and yukata 3. No noise blocking at all and kids are allowed. It sounds like they are in your room 4. Contactless check in doesn’t feel very safe"
