"The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety, including sashimi, miso soup, and Western pastries. The only downside is the coffee, which isn't great. The hotel itself is very well-designed; though small, it makes excellent use of space. It's also connected to the onsen at the adjacent mall, which is lovely for a soak in the evening. Just outside the hotel, there's an all-you-can-eat Japanese hotpot that's really delicious. For Odaiba, it's super convenient for accessing the three malls and various attractions."

"The self check in was simple and there was always a very kind person to help us along the way. The room was small but bright and had everything we needed for our weekend stay (my daughter and I). Breakfast is on the 12th floor with a great view of the city. There was plenty of variety and the food was good. The coffee was also good - important for getting the day started right. We also went up to the bar for a little snack and a drink. Again, people were friendly and drinks were good. It was easy enough to get around via the metro and the staff were helpful in getting us going in the right direction. I would totally stay at this place again."

With direct views of the Imperial Palace and the lush greenery of Hibiya Park, it perfectly combines convenience and tranquility in central Tokyo. The rooms blend classic and modern styles. The custom SleepWorks mattress offers just the right firmness, and the MIKIMOTO saltwater pearl-infused bath amenities add a touch of exclusive luxury. Some rooms even offer direct views of the Imperial Palace, allowing you to wake up to the morning sun streaming through the windows – a truly atmospheric experience. What impressed me most was the meticulous service: bellhops keep loose change handy for currency exchange, the laundry service has even earned praise from Hollywood stars, and the attentive guidance from kimono-clad attendants – every detail embodies the essence of Japanese *omotenashi*. With 17 distinctive restaurants, there's something for everyone. The French cuisine is exquisite and refined, while the Japanese dishes are incredibly fresh and soulful. The Old Imperial Bar's whiskey selection is a favorite among politicians and business elites. The 21st-floor heated pool and high-end fitness center offer city views while you exercise. In this century-old hotel, which subtly incorporates Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural aesthetics, enjoying a custom meal and a classic cocktail made me truly understand that Tokyo's high-end escapes have always been hidden within these time-honored treasures."

"For this price, what more could you ask for? It's quite good for a budget hotel. The cleanliness was acceptable, though the facilities were a bit dated. Housekeeping isn't daily, and you have to take out your own trash. Having a microwave in the room was very convenient. There's a 7-Eleven right across the street, which is really well-stocked. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, making it convenient for dining and shopping. There's also an airport shuttle bus stop nearby."

"We selected this hotel due to its spacious room (16m2) and has two single beds compared to other hotels. The hotel is near various subway stations, very convenient to explore Tokyo by subway. Walking distance (about 1km) to Ueno Ameyoko. There's a local shopping street selling food, fruits, sushi, bento etc. very convenient. The hotel provided all amenities of good quality. Service is good and friendly. Free luggage storage on checkout day. The only thing that can improve is to try to make it dust free. You can still see dust in the room, and your shirt especially black shirt will stick with the white fabric dust easily. Despite this, it does not affect the stay. Highly recommend if you prefer a bigger room in a quieter area, still enjoy the convenience close to the city."

"I booked this hotel mainly for its strategic location near several stations and honestly didn’t expect much at first, judging from some of the reviews. But after staying here for three nights, I was pleasantly surprised. The room is small, but perfectly sufficient for me and my husband since we didn’t bring much luggage. Amenities were complete, the ice cream was delicious, and there’s even a smoking area on the rooftop. The location is incredibly convenient and close to multiple train stations, which made getting around very easy. If I have the chance to visit Japan again, I would definitely stay here."

"I stayed for 6 nights, and it was quite peaceful. Just a two-minute walk away (turn right then left from the exit), there's a supermarket. Every evening before heading back to the hotel, I'd pop in to buy some milk and breakfast items. The prices were very reasonable. My go-to was to grab things that were either a bit of a splurge or hard to come by back home – honestly, I bought so much I couldn't possibly eat it all, haha! Sometimes I'd even buy some beef to stir-fry back at the hotel or use it for noodles for breakfast. In the evenings, if I wasn't back too late, I'd treat myself to some tuna sashimi. Absolutely delightful! If you happen to stay here, I've got a can of beer in the fridge for you! It was only when I was about to leave that I realized how incredibly convenient the transportation was. Just a three-minute walk to the left from the exit, you'll find the Kikusui-bashi (菊屋橋) bus stop for lines 上46 and 草23, making it easy to get to Senso-ji Temple and Kaminarimon in Asakusa. Or, cross the street and take a bus in the opposite direction to Ueno. Ueno's biggest shopping complex, 'Panco Ya,' was great for browsing. HABIS, an internet-famous cake shop, had no queue, and there was a quiet matcha dessert place. I even bought some clothes as it was sale season, so prices were very friendly. The bus stop in Ueno is right next to the historic Matsuzakaya department store. From Ueno, you can also catch a bus to Narita Airport. It takes about 40 minutes, which is quick and comfortable, though it might be on the pricier side compared to other options, but it's very easy to find. Oh, and there's another supermarket just a few minutes' walk away – a local one, the kind where residents shop. You can buy matcha products there directly; I think they make great souvenirs. Also, Asakusa Rox is not far. I just quickly checked it out, but frankly, I didn't think it was particularly special. It felt like a very generic shopping mall with common stores like Daiso, 3Coins, and Muji. Not really worth a dedicated visit; worth only a quick peek if you're already in the area after visiting Senso-ji Temple."

"Staffs are friendly. Room is small as expected but with all the necessaries. Location is good in a sense of closed to subway and train but I can hear the traffic sound throughout the night, not very loud. For sound sensitive person, be careful."

"I enjoyed my stay at Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro, the location is extremely convenient, just a short walk to the station, with many restaurants and shops nearby. The room was clean, practical, and having a washer-dryer inside the room was a big plus. However, I want to highlight that the hotel is located near a street where some men stand around at night trying to get customers for nearby nightlife establishments. They didn’t disturb me or approach aggressively, but the atmosphere may feel uncomfortable for some travelers, especially late at night. Overall, the hotel itself is great, but it’s good to be aware of the surrounding area when walking back after dark."

"Lyf is very nearby subway just a turn behind staircase. Super easy to find nearby restaurant for meal. We took bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto. We just walk to the Tokyo station from this hotel. Is only 10 mins walk. Recommended for family room, another hand washing basin at the room to ease washing off drinking or some meals instead of using toilet basin."
