"I stay here 2 nights as I came to Sabah to join ultra trail run. The staffs are amazing and this hotel is near to the hotel I take bus to running starting point. The distance to the downtown is short also. Easy to get Grab car. Highly recommended for those who want quiet hotel from the noices in the city."

"This was my third time staying at the Kaseh Hotel in Kota Kinabalu, and I brought my mother along for a trip. As always, the stay was incredibly satisfying! Service: The front desk staff were warm and helpful, offering check-in services in both Chinese and English. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful, with a wide variety of dishes that my mother particularly enjoyed. When cleaning the room, they always replenished necessary disposable items and even helped tidy up clothes on the bed and toiletries in the bathroom, which was very thoughtful. Cleanliness: The hotel was clean and tidy, with daily room cleaning service. Environment: The location is extremely convenient. Taking a Grab to city attractions is always within a ten-minute drive, making it easy to get to Sutera Harbour for island hopping and Gaya Street. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It's only about a ten-minute Grab ride from the airport, so there's no need to wake up extra early to catch a flight. Getting around to and from the hotel is very convenient. Facilities: As always, the facilities are complete. You can take hotel towels with you for island hopping and snorkeling, just remember to return them. There are plenty of drying racks, perfect for hanging clothes. There's also an outdoor swimming pool. Hope to see Kota Kinabalu again next time!"

"Room size is decent, and the facilities are generally fine. No toothbrush or hairdryer in the room, but the front desk brought one up when I called. Housekeeping: On the 27th, they said it was a holiday and wouldn't be cleaning, so I just asked for a fresh towel. They didn't clean for the next few days either; I had to specifically ask them to clean the room. Environment: It's not soundproofed at all. The road outside is very noisy, and there were motorcycles revving loudly late at night. Couldn't sleep without earplugs. Service: Overall, the service was quite good. They were very responsive to requests."

"This hotel is perfect for a first or last night stay when flying directly between Taipei and Kota Kinabalu. We were very satisfied with everything, and it offers great value for money. All the hotel facilities are excellent, especially the swimming pool, which exceeded our expectations, and its poolside bar is truly cool and beautiful. The food and drink prices are also very reasonably cheap! Highly recommended!"

"Easy access to town. Walking distance to Food Court. Homestay provided with basic amenities such as iron, towel, toiletries, good wifi services, have swimming pool and convenience store just beside the lobby. The view was fantastic with city view. Car park inside the building is a challange. However,outside the building have many parking space. The room is clean. The towels smell nice. The sofa stained and the bed a bit dusty. Though-Mattress was comfy and toilet was clean (only the shower head a bit leak). Anyway, hot water just nice and Just need to pat off the matress and pillow for good night sleep."

"Facilities: Excellent. Cleanliness: Serviced daily. Environment: Great, very convenient. Service: Pretty good. The hotel location is excellent, very close to Tanjung Aru Beach. It's super convenient for watching one of the world's top 3 sunset views. Dining options nearby are plentiful, and it's also close to the shopping district, right in the city center."

"Cons: 1. Cleanliness & hotel housekeeping need improvement, I had seen rats in and out of the hotel 3 times, please refer to standard ISO & HIRARC for improvement. 2. It has no sound insulation effect at all and is not suitable for people with poor sleep. Pros: 1. Good service from the staffs who helped me to set up birthday surprise for my partner. 2. Yang Yang Kopitiam’s food is good. 3. The geographical location is good, and it is very close to wherever we go. Walking time within 10-20 minutes or Grab (mostly RM4-5 per trip, airport RM7-15)."

"I chose this hotel for my business trip and the location was absolutely perfect, just a ten-minute walk to the conference venue. The first thing that caught my eye when I entered the room was the view outside the window; you could see the entire landscape, and the vista was exceptional. All the facilities in the room were new and complete, the bedding was just the right firmness for a very comfortable sleep, and the desk height was perfect for my laptop. I stayed for three days and was very comfortable every single day. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I'm in the area 🏨"

"The room is spacious but the smell inside the room are not pleasant. Maybe because of the carpet and the room ventilation not so well. Walking distance to Imago shopping mall, surrounded have convenient store and resto . Is kinda of convenient if u want to grab food at midnight there are one mamak store opposite open 24 hours . The pillow case and bedsheets has stain , the housekeeping need to check before changing it"

"AU YU Room is beautiful and offers a lovely sea view. The room was clean and well-maintained overall. One tip for future guests: wear the in-house slippers, as there was quite a bit of sand on the floor. The location is convenient, with many restaurants within walking distance. However, the nearest laundry service is on the other side of the city, so you'll need to take a Grab if you require laundry facilities. The only downside was the security deposit of RM200, which felt rather high. The deposit is only refunded after the staff completes a room inspection during check-out. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a great view and good dining options nearby."
