"Location is very convenient and walkable, and staff was nice and accommodating. Parking costs an additional NZ$15 per night. The room windows had no screen so flies would come in, and the room bathroom emitted a strong toilet smell. No separate hair conditioner provided. Room has high ceilings, and there is a kitchen outside but also can heat water, microwave food, and toast bread inside the room. Good in-room beverage selection too."

"I don’t normally stay at YMCA But I have been using their gym for pre training few time instead of pay 3x for the hotel 24km away I tried YMCA as I just a clean bed shower and toilet for one and train early in the more after arriving at the hotel 22:30 I worked out great standard single bed clean and tidy All the common area showers toilets tidy and clean The room doesn’t have AC but a fan with window open worked ok to circulate the air at 18C outside temp Single bed room Photos just like in the ads Level 4 men shower rose/water pressure was not working really well but ok for me just one night"

Pros: - Bathroom was clean. - Room serviced every second day (clean towels/dishes, rubbish removed, bed made, tea/coffee topped-up). - Carparks on 3 sides of building. - Staff were friendly. Cons: - Bedroom floor dirty upon arrival (needed a vacuum and mop). - Heat-pump was either on or off (arrived on a hot sunny day and wanted to cool down but 28° heat was only option. Had to just open window instead, but when someone started smoking outside, closed it). - Noisy area with regular low-flying aircraft, loud traffic/sirens, and people talking at all hours (people outside or in hallway or neighboring rooms can be heard from our room with doors closed). - Pillows very thin and hard."

Location: Based on the actual understanding of residence, this hotel should be in an area where Indians live, because there are several Indian supermarkets around and there are quite a lot of Indians. 2. The room is very clean and it is quite nice to live in. It is exactly the same as the picture. I would like to give it a good review. 3. It may be early to get off work here. When I came, there was no one at the front desk at 9 o'clock. I called and came back to open the door for me five minutes later. The Indian guy is quite handsome😅 Overall, I think it’s pretty good. It’s clean and sanitary. I’d like to give it a good review."

"We had a delay in our flight and arrived in unmanned hours unfortunately our internet wasn’t working and didn’t have the email with the lock box instructions. James the receptionist was leaving and saw us. He was very kind and helpful staying to help even though his shift had finished. The hostel needs some updating and a lock of paint but overall pretty good, comfy bed, hot shower. Can’t complain. I did miss the bit about taking sheets off and leaving them downstairs after dropping my key in the drop box - sorry."

"The room was clean and the bed was huge. The restaurant food was also quite good. Even though our English wasn't great, the staff patiently explained everything to us. The free airport shuttle is a huge plus, especially in Auckland where taxis are so expensive."

"The hotel is 17 kilometers away from the airport. If you are not detoured, you will take a taxi for more than 30 New Zealand dollars. The taxi at the airport entrance is more pitted. It is best to take a local online car. The hotel is located in a business district, very quiet, you can see people at work in the morning, and there are 2 nearby evening restaurants open in the afternoon. The restaurant dishes are good. By the way, I will invite customers to dinner here. The hotel room is fully equipped, I really like to have a dry towel rack, and there is no pressure to wash clothes. The hotel does not have breakfast. There are three breakfast shops in the right turn for a few minutes. The one contributed in the picture is very good. Friendly reminder, the hotel closes at 8 pm, you need to swipe your room card to enter, if the arrival time is late, you must call the hotel in advance to check in the staff; the specified check-out time is 10 o'clock, and you can discuss it until 11 o'clock. In addition, there are colleagues who originally planned to travel together, because they did not know that the Canadian passport to New Zealand also had to apply for a visa, they could not make a trip; fortunately, they bought the room rate insurance when booking, and hoped that the claim would be settled smoothly after the report."
