"Location is good especially 5mins walk to the Grand subway station and it’s in the Shopping Loop. Room facilities is not that good, hair blower plug is shaky unable use. Towels not provided as per paid occupants. Need to request. Unable to do the make up for ladies as the Sensor entrance light is too dim."

"I was there because of the Chicago marathon. I stayed in the hotel for totally 3 nights and the experience was alright. It is easy to access to public transport but still if you look for a hotel with better neighborhood, it is recommended to stay near the Magnificent Mile area."

"The room was super clean and spacious. Cleaning ladies were very nice. The girls at the front desk were super friendly, some guys not so much. If you want to cook in the room, you can request some cooking pots, but they were overused and scratched. Their free breakfast is decent. Very nice gym with a peloton bike. Overall, I think this is good option for longer time stay."

"The hotel is quite good. Many Americans will stay here. Breakfast is hot and cold. Coffee and hot water are available. Luggage storage is free. The environment is also good. The location is great and it is worth booking. On the second night, there was a foreigner celebrating his birthday opposite. It was quite noisy and the soundproofing was not good. This is the case abroad."

"I am happy to stay here. This hostel is cozy and has all the essentials you need. The common areas are warm and inviting, and there are activities to make the guest know the Chicago better. I chose this place because it's close to the starting point of the Chicago Marathon. The hotel also provides fruit and electrolytes to runners. The weakness I found was cleanliness. The room I stayed in had a lot of dust under the bed but there were no problems in the using area. & Some staff may seem a little upset when I asked her repeatedly or may not understand what she is saying."

"The hotel is at a great location. It’s near to the marathon start & finish lines. Close to cinema & musical venues. Near to trains as well. Amenities is basic: no slippers, bathrobes or tea bags. We needed to borrow a kettle to boil hot water. Room was very expensive as we stayed during the marathon dates. Since we are running the marathon, we have no choice but to pay the high room charges."

"In this location, this hotel is very cost-effective. The door is the Chicago River, 3-5 minutes walk from the nearest boat point. The surrounding public transportation is convenient. The airport subway can go to a place very close to the hotel, and it only takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the hotel. There is a 711 convenience store within a 3-5 minute walk. The only downside is the hygiene problem, there are traces of yellow liquid on the bathroom wall. Although it will say that someone comes to clean it every day, but after staying for 3 days, I went out at 8 o'clock every morning and came back to see that the room had never been cleaned. In short, in terms of price and location, it is good value for money. Sanitary conditions are so-so."
