"The location is incredibly convenient, right next to the bus stop and within walking distance of the train station, with plenty of dining options nearby. Rooms are serviced every two days. Despite facing the street, our room was quiet thanks to good soundproofing, and it came equipped with a kitchen and laundry facilities. A major drawback, however, was the elevators for the upper floors, which were incredibly slow and severely insufficient. Complimentary coffee and lemonade were always available downstairs. While breakfast is free, it's very basic, made with rather cheap and common ingredients, and frankly, not very tasty. I also strongly disliked the extensive use of disposable cutlery, which I found to be very environmentally unfriendly. On the positive side, their check-out time is later than most other hotels in New York, which is a huge convenience! Luggage storage is also available."

"I would like to compliment Ms. Mariam Ibrahim for her outstanding and courteous service during my check-in at the New York Marriott Downtown. From the very first moment, her warm and cheerful personality made me feel right at home. She kindly suggested an upgrade to the 38th floor with access to the Executive Lounge at a very reasonable charge—a memorable experience for my family, as we had never stayed so high before. The view from the room was truly breathtaking, and even from the lounge we could see the Statue of Liberty, which made our stay even more special. Ms. Mariam’s professionalism, kindness, and positive attitude reflect the true spirit of hospitality. She is definitely well-suited as a frontliner, and her service made our stay an unforgettable one."

"The cleanliness and comfort of this hotel raise significant concerns. During our room inspection upon check-in, we discovered someone's fake eyelash stuck to the wall and a stray strand of hair on the bedsheet. Clearly, the housekeeping was not performed meticulously. Furthermore, the air conditioning unit, situated right next to the bed, emitted loud noise and frequently switched between fan and cool modes, causing annoyance. The pillows provided were practically non-existent, being extremely flat and offering no support whatsoever. We also had to endure a constant beeping sound from the dishwasher, despite reporting it to the front desk and being assured that a technician would investigate—yet no one arrived. As a result, our rest was severely compromised. Adding to the inconvenience was, the room lacked a telephone, necessitating a trip to the front desk for any needs. Additionally, essential toilet amenities were absent, except for shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and a minuscule bottle of moisturizer. The absence of bedroom slippers was compounded by a dusty floor. It is perplexing how the hotel's website claims that ”Mint House combines the classic comfort of home and the modern luxury of a hotel...” considering these circumstances. Furthermore, with the exception of one female staff member during check-out and Joshua, who works in the fitness area, the front desk staff were generally unapproachable."

"The staff was very kind. I happened to meet them in the room during cleaning, and they were polite and cheerful, and the front desk staff greeted me pleasantly every time I went out, so I felt very comfortable. The convenient location was also perfect. It was close to Times Square, so it was lively, but that was also New York. I enjoyed it."
