"Stayed 4 nights to visit Universal Studios. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory, but since the hotel is spread out, it is convenient to get a room near the main lobby when checking in when taking the shuttle bus or using the restaurant. Prices for food court restaurants are decent by US standards and the quality isn't too bad. There is also a shuttle to Universal Studios every 10 minutes, so it was convenient to use. It took about 5 minutes to go to Universal Studios by shuttle bus, and after getting off the shuttle bus, you have to walk through City Walk and walk about 10 minutes to the entrance of Universal Studios. The room was also well-maintained and tidy, but the heating did not work well in the cold weather in the room I stayed in. Housekeeping was well provided every day, and the response from the front desk via text message was convenient and satisfactory."

"Good value for money hotel. Parking is $16 a day. 5 minutes walk to Teba Park, where Ferris wheels and luxury restaurants are gathered. About 30 minutes by car from the airport. The room was clean and the breakfast was not bad."

"Fast and quick check in, fully furnished kitchen and clean and spacious apartment. Did not have a chance to explore the facilities within the condo, but a pleasant stay with nothing to nitpick about."

"First, we paid for a room with a pool view, but when we arrived, we were given a room without a pool view. It took some time (approximately 2 hours) and some convincing, but the manager was able to relocate us to a room with a pool view. When we arrived in the new room, we were pleased with the location and space; however, the furnishings appeared old and not well-maintained; most wooden furniture contained many scratches, the dresser drawers in the bedroom were off the rails and not easily opened, seating on the couch in the living room was impossible, as one almost sank to the floor when attempting to sit on the couch. The overall style and look of the furnishings were just old. It's so sad for a hotel with a great location and upscale reputation."

"The room was cleaner than I expected, even though it is a 3 star hotel. Location wise is good, have free transportation to Disney land and universal studio. We bought our room with breakfast, breakfast was okay, reasonable. And there is an arcade for kids to play and there is even a pool table that my friends and I had a great time. The swimming pool was wonderful and it was peaceful in the morning."

"As far as I know, this is the most affordable hotel directly managed by Universal Studios Orlando, and the room key card doubles as an early entry ticket. The shuttle bus leaves every 10-15 minutes from 7:00, and it takes about 10 minutes by bus to get there. There are many restaurants around the hotel, so it was safe to go out at night."

"We were a family of 5: 2 adults 3 teens booked for 2 nights. We got to the hotel late, 10:30 pm, the check in line was long so check in was around 11. We booked and received a suite, 3 queen bed, 1 bathroom, pool view. The room was cute and generally clean with the exception of some liquid splatters on the walls here and there. A key had been provided for each person in our group for the free hour entry into the parks however we learned that you also have to use the card key to turn on the lights in the room. There either wasn’t a fan in the bathroom or it wasn’t working and though there were plenty of towels there were only 4 washcloths (original booking was for 6 individuals). We parked our rental in the parking garage and though it wasn’t terrible, it is a bit of a walk to the elevators. If you don’t want to go off site for food the food there was okay (at least during dinner time, don’t know what they served for lunch/breakfast) and honestly reasonable priced with a range number of options. But there are plenty of options in the surrounding area. Any beverages and snacks of course are higher in price. The buses to the park were clean with ride being 5-10 minutes and we never really had to wait coming and going from the park. They cleaned the room when we went to the park however again didn’t provide enough washcloths. I called front desk about it however had to end up hunting down house keeping about an hour later to get one and even that was almost not successful. Overall the stay was okay and I guess you can expect to feel safe as I was told by my husband that a female security guard followed him to our room after he asked for directions. But again everything was good until we got home and realized our personal keys that we kept in the middle console of the rental and had both our home and car keys on had been stolen. Security did claim to check the room we had checked out of with of course no success and then afterwards it took some time for them to truly understand the situation, after being placed on hold a couple of times and then transferred to I’m assuming their supervisor who at first sounded irritated I was then told that there are no cameras in the parking garage. They did take down my contact information and description of the keys but also indicated that having “over 8,000 visitors” at the hotel a day that it may take some time to know if the keys are ever found. So in other words don’t leave ANYTHING important in your vehicle."

"Very nice place for vacation, fully equipped with cooking facilities, swimming pool is good. Walking or running along the lake is also great. It's a pity to play Disney, I have no energy to play here. There is a shuttle bus to Disney, and taxis around to buy things and eat are very convenient."

"It looks like a big hotel, but the service is really not up to par. The room service came the next day, but I didn't get up, so they took an hour to come, and then they never showed up again. They recommended two things to me during my stay, the first one was when I checked in, and the second one was a phone call directly to the room one morning. Not a good experience."

"We had a wonderful stay! The room was amazing. Very welcoming, clean, and with all the amenities. Nice big pool with a bar. Miniature golf and much more. It is right next to sea world and aquatica. We will be staying again. Thank you DoubleTree at SeaWorld."
