Good location as it’s located near the Alun Alun (City Square), the Malang Railway Station, and some legendary local culinary spots. Breakfast was decent with many choices. While the general cleanliness in the room was alright, the furnitures and amenities in the room are a bit outdated. All in all, if you’re just looking for a strategic resting place after a day exploring Malang area, this hotel is perfectly adequate

The room was very damp, and there was a musty smell as soon as I entered, which might be due to the continuous rain recently. I only stayed for a few hours and headed up to Bromo at 1 AM, so I didn't get to experience any of the other facilities.

Spacious room, great location. Pros: Very large room with a cool mountain wall mural. Clean bed and decent amenities. Excellent location walking distance to the train station, the Rainbow Village and the Blue Village. Cons: The bathroom tub had some black mold spots. Breakfast started a bit later than 6 am, which was an issue due to early morning travel plans. Still, for the price, it’s great value.

The location is very strategic. I've stayed here twice. They offer a welcome drink and free ice cream. The staff are very friendly and the room is also very spacious. Moreover, the food perfectly suits my taste. Thank you very much for the service, I'll definitely visit again. Hopefully, I'll have another chance to stay here.

The Hotel tries to be a high end hotel, but kinda fails a little in the details, like an unclean bathroom and bedsheets and the loud noise from the trains crossing the nearby bridge and the AC giving off a high pitched noise which resulted in tinnitus, but the room was not really hot even without AC. There are also four mosques in the nearby river-valley that had their speakers really close by. You have a nice view on the blue village and the free ice-cream is a nice bonus. The breakfast was okay. The receptionists were kind.

Great friendly staff! Place was nice and we had a good sleep. The gym was small but fun with the boxing ball. Would come back!

Overall, my stay at Hotel Aliante was absolutely fantastic. The staff were friendly, and the food selection was diverse and plentiful. The room was really comfortable too, and the pool was amazing, especially considering the very affordable price.

The room was filthy. It looked as though no one had even attempted to clean it after the previous guests. The bed linen was brown and covered in stains, the surfaces seemed to have not been wiped down since 1986, the floor was covered in dirt, and the shower was mouldy. To make matters worse, they seemed to have tried to cover it all up with a deodoriser so overpowering it made it difficult to breathe. A dirty plate sat outside our door for the entire stay. There was no hot water on our first night. The breakfast buffet was about 90% sugary treats, as though a seven-year-old had been put in charge of the menu. The staff were lovely, but clearly untrained. When I checked out two days early, they did not even ask why. I do not think they realised we were leaving early at all. The whole experience was so bad it was almost funny. The free daily ice cream  was a nice touch though.
