Hotel Lugano

Was nice, breakfast was exquisite , personnel was extremely nice, I think everything about the hospitality. The renovation of the hotel is well done, except for the fauteuil and pouf in the rooms. Maybe consider to change; as an virtual interior designer at TOPINTERIEUR in Massenhoven, I like the details

The hotel service, breakfast buffet bar are all very good. The staff is very helpful all the time. The only minor point is I think the rooms require renovation. As good as the breakfast and bar area look very modern, the rooms are little outdated. Nevertheless it was a great experience. Hardly recommended hotel!

It is now March, but memories about New Years' Eve are very much with us, and may be even stronger. In December 2022, our stay was divided between hotels Lugano and Britannia. Both hotels are quite different, but both have the same distinct signature of style and refinement. Breakfasts in both hotels—exquisite. Your hotels—with their beauty, their rich history, the service and quality of your personnel—all of which brings one desire: to come back.

Central location, small but cosy room, very good services, parking, dogs allowed, beautiful lounge and bar, rich breakfast buffet; everything to make your vacations enjoyable. We have been there a few times and it always was a perfect experience.

for a nice week-end always a good choice to stay here. very central for shopping and close to the sea.nice breakfast and kind staff. the place to be. lovely bar. it is not the first time coming here but it is every time wonderful.

The Lugano is ideally situated. We stayed in a deluxe room which was very pricey but clean with a few commodities as well as a jacuzzi tub. The staff at the reception was friendly and efficient. Although the food at the restaurant was excellent, the staff there was curt and appeared rushed. Amazing breakfast with many fresh fruits and a wide selection of breads as well as a glass of champagne to start off your day.

Excellent stay at this cosy hotel, warm welcome, nice staff, comfortable room. The best location in Knokke. Very central. Close to the beach. Large and easy parking at the hotel. We definitely will come again.

Overall a very good hotel, large room, but room lights are "cold" and the room has no personal feeling to it. Excellent restaurant and the breakfast buffet is very good with a large selection, but expensive, 25 € per person ! Location is good, close to the beach.

I booked for 2 nights for my business travel. we arrived together with my colleagues around 1pm. - they could not keep our luggage before the room would have been ready, they said they had no space, to we had to leave it outside in our car - in the evening when I returned back to the hotel around 10 pm, sinks were not working, water was not going through, so I asked the reception to help. Staff member used some product, which did not help and when I was asking to put me an another room he was saying that they had none available & that no one would have been able to come in the night to fix it. as an option, he suggested me to use a public restroom close to the reception?? how ridiculous! I got very furious as I had to awake at 5am to start working for a big event. the staff member told me that he even called the owner and they would not be able to do anything. However, he soon returned to me saying that he has found a room for me. We went to check the new room, which was much smaller and obviously different level (cheaper price), but I agreed to change as I really needed to sleep urgently. We were returning to my old room to pick up my personal belongings & the room key which I had could not work anymore. The staff member tried at least 6 other reserve keys, none was working! he again said that he would not be able to do anything and someone would come the day after. Which by no mean was an option, as I had my work phone, laptop and all my belongings inside of the old room and had to start my working day early morning. After long discussion he agreed and said that he would order a technician, who arrived 1.5h later & managed to open an old room after long traying. Obviously I did not sleep in the old room for clear reasons. - on the next day, no communication or call or apology from the hotel. I had only 3h sleep and returned to the hotel around 4pm to change and continue working. 2 staff members of the reception greeted me including a person from the night before. I expressed again how disappointed I was that there was no one apologizing or communicating. the answer i got was that the new room (lower rate) was available for me, on which I commented that it was much lower range than what I've booked! I did not have time for discussions so I had rush back to work. I told to the personnel to sort out between themselves and get back to me with proper communication. I go up into the room, keys do not work again! there was a housekeeper who brought me the new keys, but how this can be possible, only if you dont care about your guests! - no one contacted me back with updates - on the day of checkout, I was told that I would be offered a complimentary breakfast and charging of the golf cart, and the amount still to be covered would be 300 euros, which is the golf cart rental. I explained to the lady at the reception that when booking it, I thought this was included as no one communicated to me anything or gave a document to sign/review. of course the
