Turbine Hotel & Spa
4.5/563 Reviews
Really a perfect hotel. It is called a turbine hotel, because the original site of the hotel is a power certer. But now it is converted into a hotel, the turbines and other equipment in the original factory are all preserved, and the decoration is improved. It is very small and fresh. Our room is located on the third floor (the second floor of South Africa). The room has a balcony facing the lagoon, and the scenery outside is super invincible. On the other side of the bathroom you can see the lake shore and the mountains on the other side. This hotel has almost become one of our attractions in knysna. The front desk is welcoming and you can also make a free wine tasting at the spa, reception location. We fell in love with the sherry in it, and the 200R bottle is about 100 RMB, which is very good. It is also very close to the lake, and it is less than five minutes by car. The price is too high.
Villa Afrikana Guest Suites by Knysna Paradise Collection

Certainly one of the best services we ever had. Tracy, Beauty and all other staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The place have great views of the lagoon especially if you opted for a suit on the upper floors. It also has a good location for golfing and exploring around.
Protea Hotel Knysna Quays
4.2/572 Reviews
Celebrated my mom’s birthday. We enjoyed our stay, loved the pool and our room was spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast is great, wish it had pancakes or waffles for vegetarians. The hotel is located at the heart of Knysna- short stroll to the waterfront, plenty of restaurants& activities. Parking is available on site for ZAR30 p/ night and tourism levy is ZAR30 p/ night. Our check in was 30 minutes late, (14:30) bit disappointed, but we understand it was peak period. Otherwise highly recommend and will definitely return!
Blue Fern of Knysna

The hotel on one side is in a very quiet place, on the other side to the center it is necessary to go 20 minutes. I didn't confuse the cemetery on the way, well confused people who gathered along the path at the fire. Well done. Apparently this is the trouble of the whole region-the electricity was shut down from morning to evening. Given that it could be either a diesel generator to start or candles to put in.
Roseroc Boutique Guest House
4.6/525 Reviews
Highly recommended. Roseroc nestles in a lovely green, tranquil and well kept garden. Very restful surroundings and ideally situated within walking distance from excellent restaurants. Rooms are beautifully decorated in soft hues which leave a calm and serene impression. Great attention to detail. Beautiful views over the lagoon and well known Knysna heads. The host, Kevin, is cordial, professional and very attentive towards his guests. We really appreciated the lovely gesture of port wine in our room in the evenings. Breakfast is excellent and substantial. Staff is very friendly, helpful and discreet. Will return to Roseroc without any doubt.
