Hotels near Raksabai Lanta, Koh Lanta

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my girlfriend. Firstly the staff on the desk were very welcoming and collected our bags from the door and delivered them to our room. We were given a welcome drink on arrival and the check in process was effortless and very efficient. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The pool and beach were a 2 min walk from our door and the beach restaurant serves excellent food. There were no issues during our stay and I was able to rent a bike from the hotel reception which arrived in 5 mins which was also a very efficient service. After checking out a staff member dropped us to the pier where we continued our journey. Shortly after checking out the manager of the hotel (never got his name) emailed me to say I had managed to leave my €300 camera behind in the room. He rang me to organise how to get the camera back to me and went to the effort of bubble wrapping, and boxing up my camera to be delivered to Koh Phi Phi on the same day and rang me during each stage to keep me in the loop as to where my camera is. Once the camera arrived on the island he rang me to tell me where I was able to collect it. This level of customer service cannot go unrecognised and he asked for nothing in return. I can’t urge travellers enough to stay in this hotel. I will be returning 100%. Thank you very much Lanta Staff & Manager!

Travel by the company. Travel to Lantu was spontaneous and did not understand where to book better, stayed at Tamarind Lanta Resort combined with Tamarind Twin Resort. Large, clean rooms, well-functioning air conditioning and 24-hour swimming pool. The area is cozy and green. The price includes breakfast. The cafe where breakfast is held was not impressed, periodically pulled something out of the side. Breakfast is good and if you take dishes at another time of the day, it is also delicious. Before the sea minutes 7. The beach is delighted. Tours to Old Town, long bord on islands and transfer took to the recession, everything was very much liked. A wonderful, private place, but when you want to communicate, move, shops, it is better to take a tuck-tuck, tk near the hotel is especially nothing.

An amazing hotel in a great location. The staff are incredible, the best service ever, they can’t help enough. Especially Su, who looked after us so well and really went the extra mile to make our stay amazing, The restaurant was lovely, on the beach and the food was great. Everything was to our likes: beach, nearby restaurants, room, cleaning etc. The wifi was sometimes good and a few times less so. The breakfast is very good, both the food and the service. We especially enjoyed our walks in the area on the opposite site of the main road. In between the main road an the hills you walk soon enough in an area with farms, rubber trees and no tourists. The app Maps.me helps to find these smaller paths and roads.

In fact except Mr. Kwun. No one else smiled much. It's not as good as a vendor selling Thai snacks with a bright smile. As a hotel with a relatively high positioning. While you are happy with the money. Your service level, your sanitary environment, your geographical location, and your various supporting facilities should also keep up. Among them, the comprehensive quality of service personnel is very important. Empathy is also important. The lady in the hijab (smiling to the whites, indifferent to the Chinese), took us to the hotel room. There are two rooms available, let's just use one of them. Of course, there is really no need for our family of three. But not something you can bring to me. Because I defaulted to paying for the entire room. No matter how many rooms I think I have the right to use. (In the end we didn't use it because we didn't want to burden the cleaning staff, and indeed we didn't need it) because we were scheduled to go to Krabi Airport at 5 pm. So after hotel check out (2pm). The BOSS of the hotel arranged another villa for us to rest. Thank you so much. However, the lady at the front desk who wore a hijab led us to the living room without air conditioning. It's still hot in July. This makes me uncomfortable. I don't know if it was the headscarf lady's own idea or the decision of the hotel boss. Don't criticize me, you are picky and picky when you live in a free room. The day before, I directly mentioned how much it would cost to add money for a delayed check-out. Mr kwun said it was free. I just decided to rest at the hotel. . How could I know that the price was too high or there was no air-conditioning? It doesn't matter if I just book a cheap hotel for rest. The kindness of the original boss was taken to the living room by the turban lady to rest. I fell asleep and woke up from the heat. uncomfortable. Later, I applied to the boss again, and went to sleep in an air-conditioned room in the bedroom. The hotel boss also agreed. But I don't know why there is an extra twist. Small resort full of charm in the heart of a picturesque garden you will be welcomed as at home, the bungalows are new and modern very comfortable bedding new air conditioning, 9 bungalows at present including 4 equipped with kitchenette and 2 future rooms here early December. It is possible to rent scooters on site, the owners are local to the island of Koh Lanta and will be able to guide you in your search.

We were super impressed with our accommodations here . Huge rooms , cozy linens , partially out door bathrooms were unique and plenty of space for hanging clothes etc There are approximately 13 villas spaced nicely in lush tropical gardens . There’s a good sized pool and restaurant area. At 1200 bht a night we consider this the best value in the area. The two guys on reception were super helpful, organised a snorkelling tour, rented us a scooter and had our laundry back within hours . Guests should welcome a harder mattress , mosque prayers at 5am and you’re not directly on the beach ( but the price tells you that ) Definitely will return here 🙏

Alama was such a good surprise! All my top options were fully booked and by taking a look at the photos online, I expected quite an average stay/accommodation. But to my surprise, Alama was better than expected and I might consider coming back. I booked the Suite with Garden View and it looked exactly like on the photos. I personally love the southern part of Koh Lanta so to me the location was perfect. There are so many nice bars and restaurants within walking distance, plus a scooter/car rental, a 7 eleven, ATMs and of course Kantiang Bay. Because Alama is so high up, it can be quite a walk to your room or to the pool/breakfast area but the view from there is just stunning and the perfect way to start your day. So hopefully you won't mind the steps either! Just know that there is no alcohol (but you can bring your own) and the toilet has a curtain and then there is a wooden door to the bedroom, so if you have privacy issues, I would not recommend it.

This is a lovely hotel and a great relaxed resort. The best of both worlds. Room: We came for a family holiday (kids age 12,11,7) had a 2 bedroom villa, which was a good set-up. Nice size pool between the two rooms. Beach villa 507/507. 2 mins walk to the beach. Youngest slept in our room as worried about passing the pool in the night, but we knew this beforehand. Probably the best room set-up and location we’ve ever had. Pleased with this. Lots of wildlife.. monkeys, monitors, frogs.. we loved this. Food: we had Thai buffet which was good. Great selection at breakfast. Aside from this, we ate at local restaurants- which were very good. Head out of the hotel and turn right. At the end of the beach there is a little village - lots of little restaurants. All very quiet due to lack of tourists following covid. Don’t be put put off by the quietness. Everything is fresh and delicious and you will be totally spoilt. I really hope tourism recovers a little here - the local people are desperately in need of it. ‘Same but different’ shack on beach (out of. Hotel and turn left) is small, but good food for lunch. Rice and noodle dishes, stir/fry, fries, very reasonably priced Lassis/soft drinks and beer. We ate here every lunchtime as it was close to our villa and couldn’t have asked for better. Beach: The beach is public, but Pimalai side is very quiet. Complimentary kayaks and paddle boards etc. we had a lovely family time. Excursions: hotel organised excursions are great and reasonably priced. We did morning mangrove tour - our tour guide (Gun) was superb. We also went on sunset cruise with snorkelling - also great! Downside: On check-in, we had no orientation and very little info about the hotel when we arrived. We were told everything was on the app. However, there was no internet in the room when we arrived (I think an external problem) so we couldn’t access it. We felt a little deserted. This was not a big deal - but we had no map or any real info about the hotel and surrounding area. It took 2 phonecalls to reception to explain we had no idea where I’m the resort we actually were, and no idea how to get to restaurants/no idea of food choices at hotel. They brought us a map. We arrived in the late afternoon after a long journey from London via Phuket. Nobody suggested where we go for food. Nobody asked if we wanted to make a reservation to eat. We headed out of the room to find food- with 3 very grumpy, tired and hungry kids. We found that there was a Thai buffet at the hotel - but only knew about this as it was on the route out of our room to the lobby. Nobody mentioned this when we checked in and we wouldn’t have known if we were staying anywhere else on the resort. Advice for people with kids— avoid top section of resort/hillside if you want to be near beach. It’s a bit more of a trek. Both pools are lovely and nicely shaded. Overall a lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Just wonderful. Outstandingly beautiful location. We loved: The welcome from our longtail and help from the staff to take our luggage to shore. Free kayaks and snorkel gear...and water! Spacious bathrooms Interesting wildlife including tucans...hermit crabs...lizards Dive man!!! Took our 11 year old for first dive Fabulous chef...utterly wonderful food. First class Great waiters Comfy beds Child friendly and felt safe
