We originally booked 3 nights at Tawaen Beach Resort and ended up extending for another 3 nights — and honestly, that says everything. This is not our first stay. We were here six months ago, stayed in the same resort, and deliberately came back again. Consistency matters, and Tawaen Beach Resort delivers it every single time. The staff are outstanding — professional, genuinely kind, attentive, and always accommodating. You feel welcomed, respected, and taken care of from the moment you arrive. The food and coffee pricing is very reasonable, especially compared to neighboring resorts where prices feel exaggerated and borderline absurd. Here, you actually feel you’re getting value without being taken advantage of. Cleanliness deserves special mention. The hygiene standards are truly top-tier resort level — rooms, lobby, common areas — everything is spotless and well maintained. This is something many resorts on the island fail at, even if they look nice on the outside. Location? Simply unbeatable. You step out of the resort and within seconds, you’re standing in front of a magical turquoise-blue sea and perfectly clean, soft white sand — genuinely one of the best beach fronts in Koh Larn. They have beach lounges and chairs where you can relax all day, and the beach staff constantly adjust the umbrellas as the sun moves — a small detail that makes a huge difference. Service is attentive without being intrusive. What truly impressed us: Over the past few weeks, we met multiple couples (not one, not two — FOUR) who stayed at nearby resorts and had nightmare experiences — poor hygiene, bad rooms, disappointing service. After visiting our room, lobby, and seeing the standards at Tawaen Beach Resort, they immediately canceled their bookings and rebooked here. That alone speaks volumes. We live just outside Pattaya and come to Koh Larn almost every month. One thing is absolutely certain: We will never stay anywhere else. Ever. The pricing is very fair, especially compared to the nonsense prices next door that don’t deliver even half the quality. Try this place once — and you’re hooked for life. We proudly consider ourselves lifetime clients. Couldn’t ask for better. Period.

Overall is good, just the water pump is to small

It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the pier. The beach is fenced off, so it feels safe. Everything is clean. We didn't hear any noise, and there isn't any in the evenings anyway. The only downside is that hotel guests have to pay for sun loungers.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in January 2026. Hotel was clean, especially for being on the beach. Room was nice, good size with basic amenities available. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Chairs on the beach available for guests for free, loungers are extra cost though. You can rent motorbikes directly from the hotel to explore the island. Food and smoothies were good. A lot of reviews commented on the dislike for the breakfast offered - we loved it. It’s basic but very good cooked to order eggs with toast and porridge pairings. We would recommend this place for a stay and would stay here again if back in Koh Larn.

We stayed at this hotel from December 26th to December 29th, 2025, in room 33 on the second floor. Like any hotel, there are pros and cons. Let's start with the pros: location is great, the hotel is across the road from the beach, and there's a Seven Eleven and various food stalls nearby. The room was also quite spacious. Every evening at 8 PM, there's a fire show. Now for the cons, which unfortunately outweigh the pros: 1. The air conditioner's placement in the room was very inconvenient. The cold air blew directly onto the sleeping area, making us freeze at night. 2. Our room wasn't cleaned once during our 3-day stay, so it ended up looking like a sandbox. Even though there's a foot-washing station before entering the hotel, sand still somehow made its way into the room. 3. The mattresses were extremely hard. It felt like sleeping on planks. 4. The water pressure in the shower was very low; it took me about an hour to wash my hair. 5. There were practically no shelves or drawers for clothes in the room. The clothes rail was mounted almost at the ceiling. 6. The room had absolutely no soundproofing. If you want to take a nap during the day, forget about it. The room doors are designed like tram doors, opening in different directions, and made of some thin material that offers no protection from noise. 7. Breakfasts were very monotonous. They consisted of scrambled eggs, two sausages, a small salad, toast, coffee, water, and some awful bright orange instant drink. Fruits and everything else cost extra. The breakfast was the same day in and day out, with no variety. 8. Sun loungers were only available for a fee, 200 Baht per lounger until 4 PM. Hotel guests could use chairs on the beach. Around 4-4:30 PM, everyone was made to leave the sun loungers and chairs so that a restaurant could be set up on the shore. Those who wanted to continue sitting on the beach had to move to the sand. 9. Another downside I'd like to mention is the early checkout time, which is before 11 AM at this hotel.

A comfortable place for an overnight stay on the island. A plus is that they provide you with a towel and a spot on the beach. You can also order some pretty tasty dishes from the menu there. In the evenings, they have shows and live music. It's very pleasant to sit and sip a cocktail. Breakfast is simple. The downside is the awkward lock in the room. It's hard to close.

I visited a long time ago, and it's still great now. The accommodation is clean, and the staff are very nice. You can walk straight from the hotel to the beach and sit comfortably by the shore, enjoying the beautiful view.

Very convenient beachfront hotel within steps to the beach. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful who can assist to arrange transport to other hotels of the island.

The hotel's location is advantageous. I have been a guest on two previous occasions, and the service has consistently been friendly, with all aspects of my stays meeting expectations.

They charged us 500 baht for snorkelling, claiming to bring us to an off shore island, while it’s the same as the others which only charge 300 baht. Also the check out time is wrong. Trip.com says it’s 11:30 but when we arrived they say it’s been changed to 11. Also the noise is a huge issue especially for late night and early morning.
