Blue Bay Resort Review We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Blue Bay Resort. The highlight was definitely the room with direct access to the pool—so convenient for a morning swim. The beach is great, and the complimentary canoes made it easy to get out on the water. We also loved the daily happy hour featuring smoothies and cocktails. The only downsides were the restaurant, which was a little average, and the staff there struggled when it got busy. Also, note that the balcony is shared with the next room, so your neighbors can have a big impact on your experience. We were lucky to have friendly ones!

We stayed at Blue Bay Resort in Koh Yao Yai for 2 nights. The gym is simple but well-equipped, and it was pleasantly cool with air conditioning. The hotel grounds are very well maintained and beautiful. Overall, the hotel feels very family-oriented and suitable for a relaxing stay.

Beautiful place. Rooms, pool and beach were excellent. Lots of families and couples so as a solo traveller felt a bit out of place. The restaurant was good but one night I was ignored for 30 minutes as there was a large party in. The staff, especially the cleaning and maintenance were superb over the four nights. So friendly and make you feel at home.

Great staff! Excellent facilities, large pools long enough to swim laps right on your backdoor (or a little stair from your balcony right into the pool). Great breakfast with restaurant in front of the beach. Nice beach with hundreds of meters of sand during low tide.

Excellent value for money. Best situation on the island; lovely beach, and nearby restaurants. Nice pools and every room has access to a pool either directly or by stairs. Loved it.

This is a good hotel where every room is on the pool. Breakfast was good with lots of choices except, no pork. The island of Yao Yai is predominately muslim, so pork isnt offered. Great sunsets, good restaurants close and good massage places too. Motorbikes are available so you can tour the island and see all the different beaches. Taxis to and from the piers are offered and the speed boats to and from the islands are inexpensive. The sunsets here are awesome.

Great small hotel. Friendly staff... Great pool and not to far from Patong and Kamala but you do need a scooter to get around
