Ariston Hotel Kobe Reviews

The hotel is fine, it just feels old. It was built in the late 80s and from the look of my room it hasn't been refurbished since. Some of the patches on the wallpaper had patches of their own. It smelt old too. On the plus side, the room was spacious, perfectly comfortable, and dark and quiet when I wanted to sleep. Wifi was slow enough to be effectively useless. The breakfast was excellent with a varied selection, but neither of the restaurants was open while I was there so I had to fend for myself. The front desk was friendly, quick and attentive. The hotel shares the main entrance with the Chamber of Commerce, which makes for an rather unique first impression of going into an office building.

Felt like a luxury stay with a big room and an awesome view from the top floor, location convenient only if you wanna be close to the airport

I had an excellent stay, and would recommend to anyone staying in Kobe. The breakfast staff were especially helpful!!

good location for cruise port. just 5 min monorail transit ride to Kobe Port Terminal. hotel is older and has lawson convenient store nearby. good for short stay. location in city conference area of Kobe and close to Kobe airport.

Clean but quite an old hotel. The location is nice as close to the metro to the airport

I needed to stay somewhere near Kobe Airport on short notice, so I made a reservation based solely on the location. The advantage of this hotel is that the rooms are larger than the typical new business hotels. The interior and design have a dated feel, but that can't be helped.

It is in a very remote place. I wonder if it is necessary to come here unless you have something to do at Kobe Airport. The price is cheap and the room is spacious, which is satisfactory. However, it feels very old. I recommend it to those who want a spacious room at a cheap price.

Hair falls in the bathtub, under the TV remote. It's the worst. It smells moldy.

The room is quite big but a bit old. As for the suite, The heating in the inner room is basically not hot. The price is not cheap
