The Royal Park Canvas - Kobe Sannomiya

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in Sannomiya. It's just a short walk to Sannomiya Station, the airport bus, and Daimaru department store. Directly across from the hotel is a 24-hour Don Quijote, spanning four floors – I always end up buying so much there! They also offer late-night snacks. While the room isn't huge, the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom are a rare and welcome feature for a Japanese hotel.

Everything in the room was satisfactory, especially the cleanliness. However, it seems not all room types come with a bathtub, so if that's important to you, it's best to confirm in advance. The morning coffee and evening ice cream were excellent, and the location is unbeatable – most attractions and restaurants are within walking distance. One minor detail: the king-size bed wasn't a single mattress; if you're sleeping alone, you can't sleep in the middle as the seam feels a bit hard.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to get anywhere, and there are plenty of food options nearby. Right across the street from the hotel is a Don Quijote. The hotel itself offers free tea and coffee during the day, and even ice cream in the evening. Most importantly, the shower is a proper walk-in shower, which is much more comfortable than the typical shower-over-bathtub setup you find in most Japanese hotels.

Due to a late flight, I didn't arrive at the hotel until after midnight. The room wasn't huge, but the bed was big, and the bathroom had a great dry/wet separation. For Japan, this place is excellent! The hotel's location is also fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from Sannomiya Station, and Don Quijote is right across the street. The breakfast was a buffet; while not a massive selection, everything was exquisite. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

This hotel is super convenient, right next to Sannomiya Station and in a bustling area. It's very new, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. My mom especially loved the facial masks and skincare set. It's also really close to the airport shuttle, which was a huge plus!

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I truly feel its location is incredibly convenient. There are Family Mart, 7-Eleven, and Lawson stores all along the street, so you can pop down anytime to grab supplies. Directly opposite is a 24-hour Don Quijote, which is great for buying things and bringing them back easily. It's also a short walk to Sannomiya subway station and the Sannomiya shopping street. This time, I even discovered that you can reach the shopping street in just a few minutes by taking the small road to the right of the hotel. There are various restaurants right on the street in front of the hotel, and the famous Kobe beef restaurants are just at a nearby intersection. The hotel rooms are a decent size, meeting the basic needs of a tourist. I'll probably stay here again next time. The complimentary coffee and tea after 6 PM, and ice cream before 8 PM, provide a nice relaxed space for guests to chat, which is a very thoughtful arrangement. On a later day, I had an early morning flight, so I needed to switch to a hotel near Kansai Airport. I checked out around 10 AM and left my luggage at the hotel. The hotel staff were very accommodating; I went out to do some last-minute shopping and had lunch, then came back to collect my luggage, which didn't disrupt my plans at all.
