This is the first time I've encountered a hotel in Japan where you can check in as early as 12 PM and check out at 12 PM the next day – someone must have given them some excellent advice! The hotel is beautiful, but the cleanliness needs improvement. The phone in the bathroom clearly hasn't been cleaned in years, with a thick layer of dust and spiderwebs, though this didn't detract from the overall experience. The room was a bit small; I could only open one 30-inch suitcase, but the bed was very comfortable and spacious. The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the church, 'Jinsheng Toast' (a popular bakery), and Kitano Coffee.

I stayed one night at Hotel Piena and left genuinely delighted — especially by the breakfast. Checking in was friendly and efficient, and my room was cozy, quiet, and spotless, perfect for a short overnight stay. After a long day of travel, it was nice to return to a comfortable bed and a calm atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The morning breakfast was the highlight: a lovely spread of fresh, well‑presented dishes with both Japanese and Western choices. The coffee was rich, the pastries were flaky, and there were thoughtful local items that made the meal feel special rather than routine. Staff at the breakfast service were warm and attentive, keeping everything replenished and welcoming without being intrusive. Location was convenient for nearby attractions, and I appreciated the easy access to buses and local cafés for a quick stroll before leaving. Housekeeping kept the room tidy and the small in‑room conveniences (good lighting, a kettle, reliable Wi‑Fi) made the short stay hassle‑free. For a one‑night stop where a standout breakfast and friendly service matter, Hotel Piena is a delightful pick.

The Western breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and was very well organized.

Not bad. It's close to Sannomiya and Kitano Ijinkan. The milk-stewed chicken for breakfast was really good.

This hotel is located in a relatively quiet neighborhood in between Sannomiya and Shin-Kobe Station. You have to walk to both stations or take a bus if going to Shin-Kobe Station since it is a bit up the hill. I would say convenient enough though. No laundry room, but there is a coin laundry within 5 min walking distance. Never tried their expensive breakfast (more than 3000 yen). There are few good place of breakfast nearby include a bakery 2-3 mins away. The room is clean and service is good. However, I cannot change the air conditioner setting to bit lower temperature so I can sleep better with a blanket provided.

Hotel is good in terms of breakfast, though I can see quality is not as good as before especially in terms of variety.

The location is around 10 mins to the city center and 15 mins to train station. There's a Lawson convenience store right beside the hotel.

We had a room with two beds, quite large, the room had everything. The hotel is not new. It is noticeable. The mattress was uncomfortable for me. The location is quite convenient, 15 minutes from the station.

Easy check in and good location close to town center and restaurants. Staff was exceptionally friendly and does speak English.

My stay at Hotel Piena was amazing! The staffs are all super friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was interesting and delicious. I would love to come back if I visit Kobe again! :)

I feel satisfied stayat Piena Kobe. Bery near to Lawson and Sannomiya station. And there’s Halal Restaurant “Bumbu” only 5minutes walking. The hotel nice.
