Magnificent, stunning, wonderful! An excellent hotel with hot springs. The staff goes above and beyond to fulfill any request. There's a shuttle service around Arima Onsen village. The interior design in the room and throughout the hotel is superb. The best place we've ever stayed!

The service was absolutely excellent; the front desk even helped us book restaurants. The traditional Japanese breakfast offered a great variety of dishes. The private onsen baths were a definite highlight.

We had great time spending at the hotel, amazing service by the hotel team. The Hotel has free shuttle to pick up from the station, or when you need drop off to the Arima town area. We had a wonderful time with the gold and silver onsen at the hotel, all private onsen require booking at the hotel ( with App or directly at the frontdesk) they will be happily to help. We booked a room with private hot spring with fireplace, the room is amazing with whole complimentary mini bar, so convenient that we can always relax in room. We always go to lobby to grab some refreshment after our onsen session to “cool-down” get some juice , or coffee and ice cream. We feel so relaxing the whole time staying at the hotel. We will definitely go back again .

★★★★★ Amazing Ryokan Experience in Arima Onsen We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Arima Onsen Taketoritei Maruyama. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and service were exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive and made us feel very welcomed throughout the stay. The private onsen experience was fantastic — peaceful, relaxing and beautifully maintained. The atmosphere of the ryokan was calm and luxurious, especially with the mountain surroundings and fresh air after the rain. It was the perfect escape from the city. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable for the family. The meals were also delicious and beautifully presented, with great quality ingredients and authentic Japanese cuisine. The shuttle service, attention to detail and overall guest experience were all top-notch. We truly enjoyed every part of our stay and wished we could stay longer. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Arima Onsen looking for a relaxing and memorable ryokan experience. We would definitely love to return again in the future.

A bit old style. Not really value for money. Service and amenities needs to be more refined to match the price level. Though the dinner is fine and the service is fine for the dinner and the driver is very friendly if you take shuttle to the town. You need to drive if you have many luggage.

A truly perfect hotel! I had expected it to be a bit old, but it wasn't at all. There are 8 private onsen (hot springs) available for booking, each with its own unique charm and fantastic views. It was incredibly relaxing! They even provide kimonos for guests to wear and take photos, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch.

Excellent onsen hotel, all the bathroom are private with 4 indoors and 4 outdoors. Staff were top notch as expected, child friendly, dinner was amazing although a bit on the light side, portions of the shabu shabu could have been more given the price, but enjoyable nonetheless. Highly recommend for families.

Visited in winter, it was really good overall. The only drawback was that the tatami mat was quite cold when we first entered.

Spacious room, nice and promptly service, onsen is fantastic.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and even when there was an issue with breakfast, they handled it flawlessly. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I get the chance, and I highly recommend it to friends and family!

What a wonderful Japanese ryokan! I celebrated my Kanreki (60th birthday) here! I ordered a traditional Japanese Kaiseki dinner, and everything was delicious and authentic! I was absolutely delighted with the hotel staff! At my request, they provided a Kanreki celebration set: a red vest, beret, and fan! A delicious cake was also served! Everything was precise and well-organized! The open-air onsens surrounded by nature were simply amazing! I loved my stay at this hotel!
