The room is only a few minutes' walk from Sannomiya Station, making it very convenient for getting around. The hotel room is decent, with all the necessary facilities, and is quite compact overall, but offers good value for money.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, close to the train station and directly opposite a pedestrian street, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the hotel staff are very accommodating. The only downside was the breakfast buffet, which offered a limited selection, primarily Japanese dishes with very few Western options.

I was quite satisfied with it personally. Japanese rooms are generally not very big, and this one was quite comfortable for one person. It had everything I needed, and the breakfast was relatively rich.

The hotel's location is excellent, right on Sannomiya Chuo-dori 1-chome, Kobe, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The hotel facilities are relatively new, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area with both a bathtub and a shower, which is quite spacious for Japan. The front desk staff can communicate in English without any issues. For those planning to take the airport limousine bus to Kansai Airport, please refer to picture 4: walk straight down the commercial street from HARBS (opposite the hotel) and the Lawson next door until you reach the main road. Cross the pedestrian crossing, and you'll see the sign on your right.

This hotel is excellent, offering a quiet retreat in a bustling area. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, shopping, and dining. Both JR and private railway Sannomiya stations are within walking distance, and getting to the hotel from Kansai Airport via bus to Kobe Sannomiya is very easy. The hotel is situated in a prime location: the former foreign settlement to the south represents upscale elegance, while the Sannomiya central shopping street and Kitanozaka-dori to the north offer vibrant commercial activity. Major department stores like Hankyu, Marui, and Daimaru are all nearby. A taxi ride to places like Meriken Park typically costs around 1000 yen. The decor is lovely, and the hotel is very clean and tidy. I particularly appreciate the separate bathtub and shower, a feature I prefer over many older Japanese hotels. The staff are warm and welcoming, and their service is professional. The check-in and check-out processes were simple and efficient, adding to the wonderful memories of my trip to Kobe.

The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The fridge worked well, and at the front desk, you could help yourself to common skincare products like Sekkisei, as well as drip coffee of varying strengths. The location was excellent, with an H&M nearby where you could shop tax-free; I even found a men's sweater for ¥100 less than in China. Luggage storage was available after checkout, making it very convenient to head straight to Steak Land for lunch. However, the cleanliness needs improvement; I found half an eyelash on the bed, which was a bit unsettling. Also, if you want daily cleaning, you need to hang the sign from behind the door on the outside.

After landing at Osaka Airport, it was very convenient to take the bus directly to the hotel. The location is excellent, very close to Sannomiya Station, with plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Across the street is a shopping arcade, and Daimaru department store is only a four-minute walk away. After dinner, it's about a 20-minute walk to Meriken Park, and the path is well-lit. As for the hotel facilities, the hotel is new and very clean, and the staff are friendly. It's especially quiet at night, ensuring a good sleep. The front desk is on the second floor and provides a comprehensive range of personal care products: makeup remover, facial cleanser, toner, lotion, hair care, body lotion, mouthwash, coffee, and tea – they've thought of everything! The only minor issue was that the pillows in the room were quite firm and didn't offer neck support. If this is a concern, you can request a different type of pillow, similar to a buckwheat pillow, from the front desk. Otherwise, everything else was great. I'd definitely come back next time.

Located across the street from HARBS, so if you fancy a treat, you can just pop over and bring it back to the hotel. The room is small but has everything you need. It's quite conveniently located as well; a 15-minute walk to Kobe Hankyu, 10 minutes to Daimaru, and 500 meters to the shopping street.

The Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kobe Sannomiya has an excellent location, about a 7-minute walk from JR Sannomiya Station. It's very convenient for visiting the Kitano Ijinkan-gai (Foreigner's Residences), Nankinmachi Chinatown, and Kobe Harbor, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy, with separate toilet and bath, and come equipped with an air purifier/humidifier. The bedding is comfortable. The front desk service is polite, and you can store your luggage for free. The hotel also has coin-operated washing machines, making it suitable for longer trips around Kansai. It offers good value for money.
