The rooms are comfortable (beds with good mattresses and pillows, clean sheets). Attached bathroom includes hot shower and toilet. No mosquitos, fan, shelf, power outlet near the bed. Wifi works well also in the room. Clean and quiet. Special about this place are the extra facilities: large communal spaces where you can sit in comfortable chairs or at a western style table; well-equipped kitchen to cook a simple meal or make coffee. There is a fridge and a freezer. Drinking water is available 24/7. The hosts are not only friendly, but also effective with an ability to listen to your concerns! They speak English well.In Kochi I stayed in four different homestays and one hotel before settling at Birdsnest. By comparison it was the best place by far. Stayed over three weeks.

A very lovely place. Clean, homey, spacious, all quiet. Charles is a very kind landlord who takes care of things. It's in the center of Fort Kochi but it's a bit hidden away so there is no noise and no tourist crowed. I was there vor 12 days and I was all happy. Thanks!

Bella casa a due piani di proprietà dei signori Austin situata in un vicolo tranquillo e sicuro di un quartiere signorile di Fort Kochi (non Ernakulam). Camere pulite, abbastanza spaziose, silenziose e protette da zanzariere su tutte le finestre della casa, quindi è possibile dormire con le finestre aperte. Ventilatore a soffitto, armadio, wifi e acqua calda. Zone comuni con tavolo, sedie, cucina a disposizione, una terrazza arredata. Proprietari gentili e disponibili.
