Ginger Kochi, Kalamassery

This hotel is great for my visit to Kochi. This is my second stay at Ginger Kalamassery and I would go back again.

The exterior is captivating and its location is near the metro station and at close proximity to Lulu Mall. The reception team Akhil, Roshan and Akbar were courteous and well behaved. Check in and check out was smooth and took less than 10 m👍 Devashish at the reception is extremely soft spoken and was helpful with inputs about the locality😀 The staff person at the door was quite endearing with a warm smile every time one went in and out. House keeping staff are doing a decent job and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Though the lift and lobby has an odour which if not controlled could easily move on to the rooms. While the bathroom fittings are good the AC is an old fashioned one which takes ever so long to cool the room. Acoustics is a BIG let down with noise from the neighbouring rooms and corridors disturbing ones sleep. The staff definitely measured upto to Taj standards however the infrastructure left a lot to be desired under the Taj brand.

Strategically located near Kalamassery metro; with easy access to Lulu Edappally and other business centres. Basement parking available. Eateries; shopping joints and other facilities easily accessible. Rooms are comfortable with ecletic ambience. Minimal accessories and wardrobe space if planning for long duration stay. Housekeeping was quick to respond. Breakfast space overlooks the metro rail overhead and the NH544 below. Lovely ambience with glass panelling, tastefully upholstered furniture and various seating options. Combination of North; South and Continental dishes available for breakfast. Personally enjoyed traditional puttu and kadala curry though would have enjoyed chemba rice puttu more than the white rice. Being education vacation period the aisle was very noisy. Phone ettiquitte was prominently absent with guests using mobiles loudly in the aisle especially late night. Children running helter skelter added to the chaos. Otherwise good option for a hop in; hop out stay while in kochi.

Stayed at the Ginger Hotel kalamassery as part of a marriage function at Chakolas Pavillion. We had around 7 rooms booked(4th May -6th May) for the ocassion .From the booking onwards to our check out process, the support from the ***ager Mr. Jibin was truly outstanding.Huge applauds for his services & going beyond in all the ways he could to meet our requests/concerns within his limit. He was customer focused and no doubt that such staffs are the real assets for the ***agement. Check-in was hassle free.Rooms , Breakfast, Parking, Swimming pool everything was perfect to meet our needs. The hotel was fully booked, but never felt any issues whether during the breakfast or in any other means.Hotel is located 2 mins away from the metro station which made the commutation much easier to Ernakulam town. Complimentary breakfast provided was really good especially with thr service and also attending toour requests for live Omlette, Dosas & so on.Rooms wer clean. Overall our stay with Ginger was fabulous and would definitely recommend to my friends & family .Thanks to Jibin & his crew for thr hospitality.

One of the best Ginger hotel I have been. Good location. Bang on highway, Close to Metro station. Near to Lulu mall. Rooms were sufficiently big compared to other Ginger hotels I have visited. Clean and neat. Ok for a nights stay. Breakfast we ordered room service and it was very tasty. Bright reception area. Staff service excellent. Taxis easily available. On one side of the hotel you have KFC and other side Croma. EV car charging is also available. Overall a good stay. Value for money. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent stay for 2 nights, next to metro stations and good car parking space. we had 2 suite rooms which were great, spacious, functional, comfortable bed good views of surrounding. The check-in was smooth, the front desk could be a bit more helpful with recommendations around local sights etc. The restaurant is good and spacious, great selection of dinner and breakfast options, the only downside is the restaurant staff can be overwhelmed at times where things are not replaced and nans which we ordered came at the end. Having said that, second day was much better and smooth, and the staff were more responsive. The rooftop pool is amazing with great views, not crowded, and nice warm water. The fitness suite is good as well. The staff especially front desk are very responsive and professional. Overall, I am very satisfied and would recommend anyone who wants to have a great stay in Kochi

We satyed here f or a day as we had to attend a marriage nearby. The place is very clean and comfortble. Early check in was allowed. We had dinner in their 2nd floor restaurant and we had called our local relatives too. Food was mamageable but nothing great. We didn't go for the buffet spread as we didn't like the options. The place has no liquor permit. The inclsuive breeafast was just about ok. The service was poor. I ordered omlette a couple of times and it was never served. The staff was reasonably friednly and the friedliest one was the door ***. The palce has nice parkign facility underground.

Ginger Kochin will outperform your expectations!! Rooms are spacious,customer service is outstanding,food is excellent& it’s situated in the heart of city! We stayed there for 2weeks and we have only good things to say about this place. Definitely will choose this place again. I also want to mention Mr.Shetty and Ashwin for their extra efforts to accommodate us when in need! Thanks everyone at Ginger!!!!

Was here twice for a conference. The property is new, so you will enjoy the feeling of everything being new. Rooms are functionally designed, the bathroom fittings are 'wow', housekeeping excellent, people friendly and the location next to a metro station, making travelling around easy. Buffet meals are limited in terms of variety and there is scope for adding a few more dishes. You do have a choice of ordering a la carte though. The food is tasty. I stayed first in a deluxe room and later at the suite which is much better especially if you need space. The property does have a rooftop swimming pool and a small gym, both of which I was unable to use due to the timings.
