The property is quite secluded and away from other resorts. Very peaceful and relaxing. Food is below average. While we understand the focus is not to waste, home cooked themes, etc, asking for every little thing is not hospitality. More proactive and attentive staff is needed. Basic things like cutlery, water glasses, clean plates, tissues, etc. itself is a problem apart from a very limited breakfast menu. The nature and views from the property are nice, but that's the same with almost all other resorts. So, nothing exceptional here. The downside is that the property being in far-off secluded location, one has to drive down at least for 20 to 25 minutes to eat out (dinner and lunch are charged and very limited options). Practically, other than sleeping, waking up for a morning walk and taking a few pictures, there is no point in staying this place. Considering the price and all the above, it's really not worth it.

Comfortable homely stay in a good location. It is a more of a home stay rather than a full fledged hotel. The owners Uthappa family and the Manager were always a phone call away since their house is adjoining the property. Rooms & bathrooms were clean and spacious for a family of three. Breakfast included in the room rate was authentic home made and delcious with good quantity. Location is very good, 8kms away from city and crowded paved roads, silent serene location with good view of the forest from the balcony.. The property also have their own coffee and pepper plantation which makes for good exploration with kids. Would definitely recommend to those looking for a good experience.

The property is lovely and quiet and safe. The staff was very homely. We had a 2 years baby with us, and they served us hot milk and water till late night.. loved the aura of the place.. highly recommended it. Also, every touristy place is max 30 mins away.

My spouse and I have visited Coorg during the monsoon season (Aug'2022) and we were glad that we decided to stay at 'Hotel Deva Maani'. We had opted out for 'Double (Premier)' with breakfast included. This property is located amidst the coffee estates. We were awestruck with the greenery around the whole place. We were greeted by a very warm person with a great smile : Muthu at the reception. We had a smooth check-in and he provided us Indian Flags (I felt that was a nice gesture). There were pet dogs present at the Property but unfortunately they were kept in cages. Though they clarified the reason as not every guests like Pets coming near them. The location of the property is bit outside the actual town center but we never felt that was a problem for us. You can easily navigate to famous landmarks with your vehicle. You can also request the hotel staff to arrange a tour of the nearby plantation. The property has Invertor/ Generator to provide continuous electricity . Hot water is also available 24*7. Food prepared by the chef was extra-ordinary. Using the right blend of spices and fresh ingredients (and love) must have done some magic. Every meal was different. The chef also cooked some meals to our preferences. The morning buffets were served hot and were full of flavor. One of the Server, Pankaj was very friendly and ensured that we get the best services. Wi-Fi Connectivity : I personally felt this could be a challenge because we did not get it in our room. As soon as you step out of the room into the common lobby, you will have access to Wi-Fi Connection. Rooms - Clean Room with decent bed and good amount of furniture. An extension cord would have been nice. Amenities we got in room - Towel , Soap, Shampoo , Regular / Bottled Water. Washrooms / Toilets - They have western style and it was very clean. On our day of exit, we had a smooth check-out process. Muthu also served us some sweets as he observed my knack for sweet dish during my stay at the facility.
