Loved the beach it is on and the one which is walking distance to get to. The shower wasn’t the best but it was acceptable. The only thing that would possibly put me off staying again is the sandy track from the road down to the hotel which is over 1k and very awkward on a scooter.

Family beach break A fantastic location on a lagoon near a beautiful beach - character property staffed by friendly people - nice breakfast and food available - the long track to the property is difficult to navigate by motorbike or on foot and need a taxi to get anywhere

We loved A La Koh Kood. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Robert was amazing. The food at the resort was so good. We loved th chicken cashew nut and the shrimp tempura. The room was clean and spacious. We used the main sitting area in our bungalow every night. The beach was stunning. The only negative would be the access road coming into the resort. It was a 10 min very bumpy uneven road. This is not the resorts fault though...the government is responsible for the road and doesnt fix it.

The B&B consists of 2 large houses of which common area is shared. only 10 or so rooms. Staff were friendly and easy going so it felt like staying at a relative's house than a hotel. food was good and rooms clean. we loved the fact that it was small and quiet yet comfortable and had everything we needed. other gusts were also great, quiet but friendly crowd. the road there is very bumpy though! we stayed in triple on mangrove side 1st night and moved to kitchen side the rest of our stay. the only down side to this place is that at night the canal emits very strong sewage smell that will seep into your room even with windows shut and air-con on. at some point it got so bad that it woke me up almost every night and i had to put a mask on to sleep. if you are sensitive to smell i won't recommend this place but otherwise it was perfect. also ovoid the room right next to the kitchen as cooking smell will get into your room.

We can’t rate A La Koh Kood more highly. The resort is set in a corner of paradise! For a relaxing stay and beautiful beaches you need look no further. Every single one of the management and staff could not do enough to make our stay perfect in every way. Nothing was too much for them and it was always service with a smile. The food was exceptional. We stayed for fifteen nights so occasionaly ate out at a couple of resorts nearby. It was never up to the standard of A La Koh Kood both by way of quality and service. We stayed in a detached deluxe bungalow which provided all the necessary trimmings. Fresh water is always available as well as free tea and coffee. There are always enough kayaks, paddle boards and snorkelling equipment to freely enjoy. To sum up A La Koh Kood resort cannot be beaten. It is simply heaven on earth!

A la Koh Kood is a hidden gem on Koh Kood Island 🏝️, offering a perfect blend of rustic charm and comfort. The hotel, built on stilts, sits beautifully between a mangrove and a stunning beach. The staff (especially Sebastian) is very welcoming and helpful. They can help you with scooter rentals & book activities for you ✔️. The cottages are stunning! With a beautiful view over the cyrstal clear lagoon. The common room is a cozy space, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration or simply soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. You'll be able to enjoy various activities, including kayaking, snorkeling, and exploring nearby bays with free kayaks or rented mopeds. In summary, A la Koh Kood is an idyllic retreat for those seeking relaxation and natural beauty, making it an ideal choice for a peaceful getaway ☀️. Oh and I almost forgot: the beach next to it is litteraly THE BEST of the island. Believe me, you'll spend hours enjoying the sun & the sea here .

We had an amazing stay with our 2 kids at this resort! The all service was amazing 🤩 They have kayak and paddle boards for free to use, and also toys for the kids. We totally recommend this place!

We can highly recommend the small, carefully and beautifully taken care of A la Koh Kood hideaway. Is is set in a magrove bay, built on stilts, were you can watch a lot of hermit crabs crawl around - and only a few meters away from the most beautiful, pittoresque beach of the island. From there, it is possible to walk a maybe 15 minutes jungle pathway to the next bay and as well in the other direction to the bay of hideout resort - which is great to get around a bit without using a motorbike. The restaurants has excellent food, and last but not least Ruben is the nicest host you can image, keeping this place with a lot of care and being helpful with everything you need.
