The hotel is in desperate need of renovation and deep cleaning. The villas are in a poor condition. There is a sewage smell present. The bed and pillows are poor quality. AC is loud and was leaking. Stained curtains and sheets.
After a couple of days the smell in our villa was so strong that we asked for a change of the room. We were taken to a different villa where we immediately noticed that the AC is not working properly. We were told that it needs time to get cooled down. We were insisting that it seems its not working but the staff was keep pushing back its fine. It wasn't. We were unable to sleep bc the AC was not cooling at all. On top, we woke up to a cockroach in the bathroom. Noone is present overnight in the hotel so we informed the reception first thing in the morning about the situation. We were offered 'an upgrade' to a seaside villa. It was next to a construction so we said we want to rest which will be impossible in this room. We were showed another villa with the same sewage smell. All of that in a presence of a rude staff which was clearly angry we bother him. When he came to our villa, instead of saying "hello" he angry said to us "so?". When we asked what does he mean, he said "so what? You want another room again?". When I started explaining what happend, in an aggressive way he said to me not to talk, because he knows what happened. My husband asked him why is he rude to us and is behaving in such manner - his reply was that he is here to show us the room so lets move on. After that, and seeing other villas we decided to go back to the first one. We knew there is no point in talking. Noone contacted us afterwards, not even to check if we are ok. When we were checking out we heard an apology. We said its ok, because we wanted to leave asap. We tried to get a refund for that sleepless night via trip.com but the hotel rejected it saying things that were not true eg. that we were offered multiple villas to chose from but we didnt like any. The pool are is nice but there was a lot of people smoking w.e.d which noone is checking. We are very disappointed with the whole experience and poor conditions of the place. On the good site, the breakfast was very good and the beach is stunning.
