Samer Your House is a great accommodation option on Samed Island, but be sure to contact the host immediately after booking to confirm your reservation. I booked in February for March, arrived to check in and found out that the room had been rented to another guest. I was placed by host to another property that was much worse than what I had booked. The holiday was ruined

Everything was perfect. The room is clean and beautiful. The bed is very large and comfortable. The shower room is clean and the water pressure is good. Beautiful courtyard, very cozy to sit in the evening. The staff is very responsive. A great choice on Samed Island.

So I stayed for couple of nights and 3 days in this property. The location is not that bad it’s just 2 mins walk to Sai Kaew Beach. One thing that I liked was that it was hushed at night time and t’was good for me to sleep. On my first night of staying, I killed 2 cockroaches in the washroom , so I thought that if they will clean properly the room would be more pleasant and clean.

Everything good, friendly staff, convenient and quiet location but there was one huge problem with smelly towels, they needed to be washed only with detergent without softener. Softener locks moisture inside which provides perfect environment for bacteria to grow.

I stayed for a couple of nights - everything is ok.
Exit to a small quiet street, there is a small terrace where you can sit.
Everything is clean and tidy.
There are some downsides, but they are insignificant, especially considering the price:
The fan on the terrace did not work, for some reason there was no cleaning (they just left water at the entrance).
There is almost never anyone at the reception.
The employee who receives guests does not speak English at all, but if something happens, you can contact the owner on WhatsApp.
You can rent a motorbike, they want your passport as a deposit. For 400b you will get a broken Honda Click for a day.

At the last moment before the Chinese New Year, I managed to book only a small room without a window, but by island standards the room is of normal size, a good shower/toilet - lots of space, water pressure and heating are excellent. I was afraid that there would be little air, but surprisingly I slept well with the air conditioner working) the audibility is high, you need to be prepared for this, the beach is a 5-minute walk away, there are many cafes and two 7/11 nearby.
