Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. You can snorkel directly in front of the hotel, and there are more fish near the coral reefs, but I wouldn't recommend going there if the waves are big. It's best to wear long pants and diving socks to avoid scratches. The sand right outside is very fine and soft. Breakfast is served by the sea with ocean views. The bar street can get a bit noisy at night, so it might not be suitable for light sleepers, but since we usually go to bed late, it didn't bother us. A major plus is that the bedsheets are changed for every new guest. The room has many windows, making it bright and airy. The only downsides are that the shower only has a handheld showerhead and the water pressure is a bit low. For shopping, try to go to the 7-Eleven on the main street, as the supermarket here is about a third more expensive. Overall, it offers great value for money and is perfect for a relaxing holiday.

This was my favorite hotel of the trip! I loved the private bungalow with its own little yard, and stepping right out onto the hotel's beach was fantastic. The breakfast was excellent, and having their own convenience store and bar on-site was super handy. Plus, there's a scooter rental right by the entrance. All in all, highly recommended!

Motorbike rentals, snack bars, restaurants, and pubs are all right at the doorstep.

This Silver Sand Resort on Koh Samet was truly terrible. I booked a garden room but was assigned a second-floor room with no elevator. After lugging my suitcases upstairs, I realized the room layout was incorrect, so I had to move again. The new room had sand on the bed, which they claimed was falling from the ceiling. After it was cleaned, I went back to find sand again. The restaurant staff were all surly. They messed up my order because they weren't communicating and didn't even provide cutlery. When I asked for cutlery, they still didn't bring it. It was as if the boss wasn't paying them! Truly awful.

The actual place is even better than the photos! The location is great, and the hotel has everything you need. You barely have to move – there's a supermarket, bar, and restaurant all within 50 meters, covering your basic needs. You can also take a songthaew (local shared taxi) to other beaches for dining, and the main street offers plenty of choices too. The room looks just like the picture; I recommend booking a beachfront room as the price isn't much higher than the rooms further back. If you're sensitive to noise, you might prefer a room further back, as the beach bars can play music quite late into the evening. Breakfast doesn't have a huge variety but includes congee and preserved vegetables, which is great for a Chinese palate. Just be mindful of your boat schedule for the return trip. Overall, it was a good experience. We've been to many islands like Phuket, Krabi, and Koh Samui, and the kids said they'd definitely come back here!

The hotel is very close to the bars, so if you're not sensitive to bass sounds, it's a good place to stay. The location and environment are excellent; you can walk from the beach to the lively district, and the sea is right outside the hotel, which is fantastic. The service is so-so; the front desk staff aren't particularly friendly, but they seem to treat everyone the same. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the Thai food is delicious, which I personally liked. As for hygiene, you can't expect too much on an island, right? I stayed for two days and found two cockroaches, but I'm not a clean freak, so I thought it was pretty normal. Overall, I would definitely stay here again next time.
