Vimarn Samed Resort

Nestled between two beaches, both within walking distance. The Deluxe Room had very few amenities, but offered sea views from the window. The Luxury Room, however, was a whole building facing the sea, with significantly upgraded facilities – perfect for watching the sunrise. Overall, it's a compact resort with a beautiful pool. Breakfast options were a bit limited, and the water pressure in the bathroom was too low.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, nestled on a relatively prominent cliff between Ao Pai Beach and Ao Wong Duean Bay, surrounded by the sea on three sides. The swimming pool has been renovated into a square shape. The restaurant, situated near the cliff, offers beautiful views. However, I wouldn't recommend it for those who prefer a lively atmosphere, as it's a relatively tranquil spot.

While it's a little removed from the main town, the views were absolutely beautiful, and it was such a comfortable and relaxing place. Our entire family was thoroughly delighted.

A pleasant, simple, and quite basic hotel. The room was very small, but the view was beautiful. The beach is close by, and the sea is wonderful. Beach sun loungers are an additional charge. It also has its own pool with a fantastic view. Breakfasts are modest, but sufficient.

Despite paying a considerable amount, I was assigned a windowless room. My attempts via Ctrip to resolve this with the hotel were unsuccessful, partly because Ctrip's own room descriptions were unclear. Ctrip did, however, refund me 140 for the price difference. The shower pressure was extremely low, and the bathroom mirror was badly cracked, almost to the point of shattering. When I reported the issues, a staff member just took a brief look and walked away without offering any solution. On the positive side, the hotel is close to the sea and quiet, offering opportunities for free snorkeling. Having breakfast with a stunning sea view was also very enjoyable.

Based on the many positive reviews, we chose this hotel. The bungalows were fully booked, so we ended up in rooms in the two-story building. I was traveling solo with my two young children (aged 5 and 3), and we were assigned a room on the second (top) floor. That evening, just before bedtime, we started hearing things running on the roof. When I asked who or what it was, everyone just smiled. The administrator then told me, 'If you're not happy, you can check out tomorrow, and we'll refund your money.' At breakfast, we were served moldy toast bread. Frankly, we moved to another hotel, and I absolutely do not recommend this one. Judging by the sounds and noises, it was clearly rats running on the roof, and I was terrified they might get into our room. The rooms themselves are tired and desperately need renovation.
