Everything was clean, a few steps away from the beach and a big enough pool when not busy. When we initially arrived at Koh Samet, I called the hotel 5 times in the span of 10 minutes and there was no answer. But each day that we were at the hotel, there was almost always someone sat at the desk.... Breakfast was included but the food was very lacking. There is no security and the staff go home after 8pm so if you worry about theft, I wouldn't stay here.

I strongly advise against staying here! The breakfast quality was terrible, trust me. The front desk service was practically non-existent. I was shocked the moment I walked in – there was no proper lobby, it looked nothing like the pictures. The entire 'lobby' was filled with long tables and swarming with flies. The bedding felt damp, and I didn't get a good night's sleep for days. It's a huge contrast to hotels in Bangkok. The swimming pool water was incredibly murky with very little circulation.

The location is decent, very close to the beach. However, there were quite a few flies at breakfast.

Booked 2 rooms and 2 friends booked into another 2rooms. So between us 5 rooms. There was allegedly an island power cut but 3 other rooms had complete power and air conditioning except my room. Tried to speak with staff about the situation and none spoke any English.it was a disappointing stay.

Totally not recommended because the hotel is very dirty the room smells very, very bad . The price are too expensive for the facilitate that comes with it . We were 5 people ,spent 3 night in the hotel and no one was sleeping well. The second day did not have people to come clean our room until we demand them to. The bed shits were very dirty also. I’m sure the room has mob. The whole air in the room was really disturbing. It was so bad it will not be improved because they have already put an air purifier in the room and it does nothing to prevent that bad smell. it was one of the most expensive hotel we booked for the trip we had hope for it and we got very very disappointed . The only good thing about this hotel is the location because it’s 5 mins walk to the beach, but once we get to the beach, there is not a nicer looking hotel with window facing the sea , which this hotel don’t have , it face to other side of the beach, no view at all . The hotel breakfast was very normal as well it was nothing bad, but it was nothing good about it also . If you have read this comment, I highly recommend you to find a better place.

The front desk was unstaffed at night, requiring a phone call to get assistance, which was inconvenient as we didn't have a local SIM card. Breakfast was quite mediocre, and the hotel's appearance didn't quite live up to the polished photos. Our room had only a small window, making it a bit dim with no view. The location was decent though, very close to the beach. The family room was fairly spacious, and we could push the beds together, which was enough for our group of three adults and two children. We booked primarily for the pool, but it turned out to be quite small, only suitable for kids to splash around in. Housekeeping staff were friendly; they'd fold towels into animal shapes if tipped. The shower pressure and overhead shower were much better than in other hotels we've stayed at. What's more, our 10-year-old wasn't charged for breakfast, whereas other hotels charged for the child in a 2-adult, 1-child booking.

We recently stayed at this pavilion in Koh Samed and unfortunately it was quite disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the service felt cold and unwelcoming. No one really smiled or made us feel comfortable, which set the tone for the stay. We paid an extra ฿650 for what was advertised as an additional bed, but in reality it was just the window seat with a sheet put over it. It was extremely hard and not suitable as a proper bed, especially for that price. The breakfast was very basic and not particularly good, and overall the property felt tired. A lot of things looked dirty or worn down, and the room itself didn’t feel well maintained. The sheets had holes in them, and one even had what looked like a blood stain, which was pretty unpleasant. There is a swimming pool, which is quite rare on Koh Samed, but for us it wasn’t enough to make up for the rest of the experience. There are plenty of nicer places on the island with and without pools that offer much better value and atmosphere. Sadly, we don’t think we’ll be returning.

If you are picky, need private beach and a big swimming pool - this hotel is not for you. It is a nice small hotel, with small pool, great breakfast. There are rooms that can fit 4 people. It’s a 20 second walk to the beach, you can rent a beach chair or lay on the towel. This hotel only servers breakfasts, there is no lunch or dinner, but you can always get good food at Samed Villa Restaurant. It’s a pleaser stay for several days, lots of greenery on this hotel property, it’s small but cozy.
