Huge thanks to the hotel for their thoughtful arrangements! I requested towel animals in my booking notes, and they delivered beautifully. The room was spacious and modern. We stayed on the ground floor, so we had direct access to the pool right outside our door. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect – step out and you're right on the beach, surrounded by lovely restaurants and charming cafes. Honestly, Sai Kaew feels like the best-located hotel on Koh Samet. The service was excellent too; everyone was so friendly.

I stayed here for one night and had a great experience. I was impressed with this hotel. All of the staff were friendly and provided excellent service, and the air conditioning worked very well. The only small downside was that the room did not provide a toothbrush. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, and I will definitely come back again.

Every shot is postcard-worthy! One of the front desk staff spoke excellent Chinese and was incredibly helpful. The breakfast was also great.

The resort is beautiful and the location is excellent. The rooms are clean, and room service is convenient. The natural environment is lovely; we often saw squirrels running around. However, the room facilities are quite basic. The bathroom didn't have hot water, and the bedside lamp and door lock were broken. The staff were generally friendly, but not particularly enthusiastic. We rarely experienced proactive or smiling service. On the way to our room, no golf cart offered to help with our luggage. When we asked to use a sun lounger at the private beach, the attendant surprisingly said, 'I don't know,' and we never saw any guests using the sun loungers there. We ate twice at Winkks, and the staff at the entrance never greeted us or proactively showed us to a table. When they found out we didn't have a reservation, they immediately said there was no availability, even though there were clearly two unoccupied tables indoors that hadn't been reserved. They only seated us after we explicitly said we could eat inside. The front desk staff on check-out day were quite good, but the overall service compared to other places in Thailand was pretty average. Overall, it's an unremarkable resort. If I return to Koh Samet, I would consider other hotels in the same price range.

Traveling with kids and elderly parents, we booked two rooms for two nights. At the time of booking, only deluxe rooms were available, and the price wasn't great. The rooms were arranged in a row of three, quite far inside, and a bit small with poor soundproofing, but they were clean. The hotel has its own pier, and the ferry to and from the island is free. Our luggage went directly to the island's front desk, which was very convenient. We were charged a 200 Thai Baht per person island fee at check-in, but it was refunded at check-out, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff, both at the pier and the hotel, were very friendly and helpful. The hotel breakfast was also plentiful. Next time we visit Koh Samet, we'll definitely book a deluxe cottage closer to the beach.

Excellent hotel, with a beautiful and clean property. We booked rooms on the first line (beachfront/poolside), and really enjoyed it.

The room and service were decent. Perhaps with the rising prices in Thailand, it doesn't stand out as much anymore. To get to and from the hotel from the pier on the island, you'll need to take a songthaew. It's definitely more convenient to rent a motorbike if you're staying on the island, you can even ride to some small beaches in the south to relax. The hotel's restaurant has a nice ambiance and is good for a fancy meal. I'd recommend a street food stall I found – for about 200 baht per person, including four or five beers, the food was delicious. They even sent a small cake on my birthday night.

Wonderful hotel with a large green area. The evening fire show is impressive, and the live music is good. While the breakfast dishes are mostly geared towards Asian tastes, you definitely won't go hungry. I highly recommend this hotel.

Thank you to the hotel for an unforgettable birthday celebration! I originally emailed to book a good spot at the restaurant for the fire dance show, mentioning it was my birthday and I wanted a good seat. To my surprise, both the room and dinner had wonderful surprises! They even specially sang "Happy Birthday" to me and presented a small cake. I was truly touched!

The beach was quite crowded, and there's a boat shuttle service. If you miss it, you can opt for a speedboat (it's quite a thrill!). The environment is decent, but you need to watch out for mosquitoes and small critters. At night, there were quite a few on the ceiling near the entrance. Breakfast was just okay. The service attitude was good and polite.

Since 20 years ago every time I visit koh samet I must stay in this hotel , the location and the design of hotel , with swimming pool just beside the ocean, the location everything is just so good

This resort is probably the best in the area, satisfactory in all aspects.
