I chose this hotel for its proximity to the sea (beach) and its secluded location, hoping to relax and swim without crowds. It was a surprise to find that there was virtually no sea. The tide goes out for what feels like miles. The high tide only comes in late in the evening. Because of the hotel's remote location, during the rest of the day, you're either stuck by the small pool or have to leave until evening. So, there's really no point in this location at all. The beach is quite dirty, with bottles, plastic bags, and other rubbish. The room felt tired. One evening, I woke up because something broke in the toilet – water was gushing out with strong pressure and flooding everything. Breakfast was pretty mediocre. The staff, however, were pleasant.

Villa pool access: very disappointing. It's open to everyone between your "terrace" and the pool. The space isn't practical for getting to the pool. Housekeeping was mediocre (e.g., hair everywhere in the room when we arrived). TV channels other than news were only in Thai and Hindi. Remember to rent a car or other transportation for getting around.

Was little problem with the room, I didn’t get the room that I ordered, But the management fixed it somehow and gave me another room still not what I ordered but it was okay.

We stayed 6 nights in a Deluxe Room and it was wonderful! The resort was not lacking in any way; the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire atmosphere was idyllic! We also highly recommend if you desire a stay away from the busy atmosphere of other locations.

We have just returned home from a fantastic stay at the Passage on Samui. The hotel and Staff are truly excellent and do everything to make sure that your stay is as perfect as possible. All Staff on the hotel was fantastic but Cat and Ben in the restaurant was just further fantastic – catering to all our needs and just very pleasant company to be around and enjoy some small talk with. We stayed in a 2 bedroom "villa" with a private pool and that was simply just perfect for our family vacation, we had a small "kitchen" / lounge area besides the 2 bedrooms, where the kids often had dinner from room service. The private pool is not very large, but it was very easy and nice for the kids to quickly jump into the pool and when we wanted more the hotel offered 3 large pools on the hotel grounds. The hotel is right on the beach and right in front of the hotel the beach is clear of rocks and coral. - There are corals to both sides of the hotel and further out as well, which makes this beach very protected. When we stayed at the hotel the tide was out most of the day, which made the beach very shallow and not good for swimming, so for beach swimming we had to get up and complete this in the mornings. Everything about this hotel we will highly recommend, both for families with kids, but also for adults seeking a nice, relaxed vacation - there are plenty of room for both at the same time. The hotel is a bit away from everything else, so some kind of private transportation is highly recommended.
