The hotel kindly upgraded us to a pool villa, and both the service and facilities were definitely five-star quality. Even though the hotel is a bit older, it offers a great variety of room types, excellent service, and a lively location. It also has its own expansive beach. The breakfast, spa, and pools were all fantastic. There are even showers right in the lobby, so after checking out at noon, we could come back from our evening stroll and freshen up before heading to the airport. We were very satisfied. (The hotel's beach has crystal clear water and white sand, and there are lots of fish too!)

There is a nice beach at the back of the property where you can watch the sunset and have a nice cold beer.

Overall, I liked everything except for the very old mattresses on the sun loungers; they weren't very comfortable to lie on. The breakfast was good, the rooms were clean, and housekeeping was daily. There was no evening fire show, so we went to the neighboring Arkh hotel.

The hotel is quite old, but it has beautiful grounds and lush, tropical plants. The breakfasts are decent, the pools are clean, and the staff is attentive. The squirrels near the restaurant are adorable! The sea and beach are simply stunning, and there were always enough sun loungers. The plumbing in the room was fine. Now for the downsides: The sun loungers and their mattresses are very old. The bed linen also looks quite worn. The room is a bit dark, and the air conditioning blows directly onto the beds, making it impossible to sleep with it on. The dishes in the restaurant are also dated, which was unpleasant. There's also not enough lighting in the evenings, even on the hotel grounds. On my last day, it rained, and I slipped and fell on the tiles; luckily, I didn't break anything. We stayed in room A06, which had direct pool access. However, even in these rooms, which are the furthest from the bar, you can still hear noise from the neighboring bar at night. If you're a light sleeper, this might be uncomfortable. The planes weren't really an issue; they don't fly by that often. I'd like to address parents separately: unsupervised children in the pool were behaving terribly – screaming, teasing, and swearing – all right outside our rooms. Their parents paid no attention, making it impossible to relax in our room or on the terrace. Overall, though, I recommend the hotel because of its location and proximity to the sea.

Excellent hotel with a great location! The hotel grounds are lush and beautiful, and the beach is clean. All conveniences like shops, cafes, massage parlors, etc., are right next to the hotel.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and everything here is wonderful – the location, the service, and the breakfasts are magnificent. I hope to return many more times!

The location was excellent — we hardly had to go far from the hotel. The hotel's location was one of the most beautiful places we stayed at. The staff were very kind and friendly, while also being professional. Highly recommended.

Good location at chaweng beach, the most lively beach on the island. I got upgraded (later after checking in to one room) for my birthday gift, to a better room near the pool. The lady at reception name mama recommended a good local restaurant to us. Cheap and delicious. Just at the hotel front, the gelato and cake shop, is so nice. The bed was okay but the bird sounds near the room a bit disturbed our sleep. So sad that we didnt get a chance to taste the breakfast, coz we have to leave for morning flight. The hotel is just about 15 min away from the airpot, good for those who planned morning flight

Perfect location fr everything u needed.Greenery,clean area overall. Staffs all departments r very friendly which makes u feel welcome here.Room is spacious with comfy bed. The only drawback is the sound of aircon is quite loudly n difficult to adjust(compressor outside behind bath room as well,our room is shino type) For the noise frm beach club next door we didnt really hear it. Bf is quite on average nothing extra.Beachfront is very lovely,nice long beach to walk along. We had only 2 night’s staying here as a drop off frm Koh Tao but we love the stay at this hotel so much n think of make a new booking fr next yr already.  ps; some ppl might get irritated by noise of planes take on n off but that s just fine fr us.

My daughter wanted to stay in a villa, so we chose this hotel, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The hotel was renovated in 2011, so it's a bit old, but it's very well-maintained overall. The lobby is grand and new, and the entire hotel feels like a miniature tropical jungle. Half of it is dedicated to various villas spread out, while the other half has pools connecting the rooms. Even though there are many trees, we didn't encounter any mosquitoes or insects, so the hotel must have treated the area. The hotel has its own beach with white sand and turquoise water. I woke up every day hoping to catch the sunrise, but unfortunately, it rained during my entire stay, so I only saw the morning glow. The hotel service is excellent; they promptly resolve any issues. We stayed in a Grand Bunch Garden Bungalow and added an extra bed. The room's amenities and details were well-maintained, and the shower was very comfortable. The only minor quirk was the traditional key and wooden bolt lock on the door. We didn't know how to lock it at first, so we called the front desk, and they patiently showed us how, haha. The hotel's location is its biggest highlight – right in the heart of Chaweng Beach's liveliest street in Koh Samui! ARK BAR is right next door. Their restaurant serves delicious food, and the beach bar at night is incredibly vibrant! There are fireworks and a fire show every night from 8 PM to 2 AM, allowing us to experience Koh Samui's nightlife up close. Plus, the hotel offers a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. While it's located on a street filled with bars, restaurants, and massage parlors, the bar noise can be loud at night, so it's a good idea to request a room away from the bar street when booking. There are many massage places and restaurants along the street outside the hotel, all similarly priced and of good quality with clear pricing, so you can choose based on your preference! My family was very satisfied this time, and I'm even writing a review for the first time, haha! 😃

Close to the beach and breakfast was good. My flight to Koh Samui was delayed, so I wanted to cancel my trip, but the hotel refused, which is a very overbearing policy. I ended up having to rebook a later flight to Koh Samui.
