There was a bit of confusion as I made a last minute late evening booking, but C trip sorted them out and the owner sent the staff down to check me in. I had stayed in the main building previously, but took a bungalow behind the street front. It was spacious, medium size fridge, nice bed, AC was a bit old but did its job. It was quiet from the few bars on that end of Lamai. I would stay again, but book a bit earlier during their business hours.

We booked one night. It was our first time on Koh Samui and this was our first hotel, so we booked online. We took a bus from Phuket, leaving at 7am and arriving at the hotel only at 5pm. They were expecting us! That's good! There's no 24-hour reception, but there's a separate office, but it has its own hours (the door says 9am-8pm, which isn't true). It's already closed at 5:50pm and still closed at 10:00am. So, if you're unsure whether you'll make it by 5pm or need to leave early (they charge a deposit, which you have to collect), you can always let the hotel know you'll be late, but you need to plan ahead and notify them! Entrance to the hotel is through the intercom, key #1! So, if a family arrives, one stays in the room, the other goes for a massage, and everything works with a key, then you can't really get in (we threw the key from the balcony so we didn't have to go downstairs) - inconvenient!!!!!!!!!!!!! The beach is across the ALOHA Hotel, and the view from the balcony is also of the ALOHA Hotel. There's no privacy on the balcony; the neighbor's balcony is completely open for everyone to see, so we decided not to go out onto the balcony. It's a 10-minute walk to 7/11 and Big C, 20 minutes to the night market, and 30 minutes to Lotus. We didn't use the beach, so I can't say how it is, but it's definitely far from the shops. The hotel is on the road! Cars drive by, bikes whistle, people talk under the windows, and the bar across the street is having fun - we wanted peace and quiet, but that's not what this place is about! We spent the night and went somewhere else. Having stayed at this hotel, we worked on our mistakes, and it was easier to look for another option) Thank you!

A cheap room is one without air conditioning, if you take one with air conditioning, it's not so cheap. They change the bed linen so that everything is turned inside out, that's your replacement. Considering the dirt and the attitude of the owners, it's better to pay extra and live in a normal place.

The location is convenient, the beach is nearby, there are many cafes, and the market is about 10 minutes away. Bed linen is changed every other day, and towels are changed every day. Beach towels are available.

The hosts were very nice and helpful. The room had a fan and mosquito nets on the windows. There was also a refrigerator. We received two small bottles of water every day, and the room was cleaned (you could also opt out). Everything was great, we'd love to come back.

I felt very comfortable at LamoonLamai. The room is beautifully decorated and was cleaned daily. There is a spacious closet to store clothes, a safe for valuables, a spacious bathroom with a bathtub and a cozy balcony to relax on. The room was also equipped with a small refrigerator and a TV and a very large and comfortable bed! If I had any questions, I could always turn to the very friendly owner.
