The Briza Beach Resort, Samui

Honestly this hotel is amazing! I couldn't have asked for better! The people are amazing and so welcoming! We booked the villa at first but weren't realty using the amenities as we were doing trips around the island everyday, so we downsized to a room with a plunge pool, the staff are so lovely and polite! Cristina and tom all the staff are such a credit to your company, the guy also at the bar is such a nice person from Myanmar! The girls at reception! Thank you so much, we really appreciate everything you do for us! Nothing is ever to much! Your such a credit to this company

This is a lovely hotel with lovely staff. Unfortunately it is located on a little hill, so you are always walking up and down the property to either go to the swimming pool, restaurant and beach or when leaving the hotel to go out. It could do with a little bit of maintenance here and there, but that didn't effect our stay. It was just noticeable. The town is walkable, around 20 minutes, with a few restaurants and shops on your way there. There isn't really a beach to lay on immediately outside the hotel, there are loungers and seating in the hotel that over looks the sea and there is plenty of space to the side of the hotel where you can lay on the beach. We actually didn't find this a problem and just used the hotel area which is sanded. We stayed in one of the rooms with a plunge pool which was lovely.

The facilities are a little outdated, and the way to the beach are not as nice as other places. The staff was nice and welcoming, but overall we weren’t amazed. The room service was not very good, and they cleaned okey but not great. 6.5/10

Fabulous ten day stay at The Briza.  All staff were so welcoming and helpful. Special mention to Ken and Goy who assisted with an issue that that was not a hotel issue.  Excellent selection for breakfast in the lovely dining room.  Well kept gardens.  The only negative I had was that there was not a “comfy” chair in the room which was a plunge pool room. There were two hard back chairs but not very comfy for relaxing.  Overall a fabulous experience.  Highly recommend.

Good, breakfast was lacking options. Very clean, good service. A bit ‘out of town’ so need to walk or tuk tuk everywhere.

Enjoyed my stay at the Briza resort staff, very friendly and attend all your needs I stayed in a room with a plunge pool, which was lovely. The only thing I would’ve liked my own sunbed otherwise everything was excellent

We stayed with our daughter for 10 days for her 21st birthday in a two bedroom villa with a plunge pool . The views were magnificent. We had a huge double bed  (which was very comfortable) and my daughter had two single beds in her room.  We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel, the reception staff were lovely, the cleaners all very helpful and the location was perfect. It cost 150 Baht for a taxi to get to central Chaweng which is 5 minutes away. Sometimes we walked back from Chaweng along the beach which took about 30 minutes.  Thoroughly recommended!! Nice oasis out of Chaweng!!

Very good stay. Good service and very decent breakfast. Thanks

The staff were very pleasent and accommodating, the pools were nice and clean, unfortunately the beach in front of the hotel is terrible, there is no beach directly in front of the hotel and the rest of the bay is covered in oil and quite unkept.
