There's no restaurant or cafe. Bring your groceries from the city; stores are very far away. There are frying pans, a gas stove, a large refrigerator, and you can eat at the cafe on the neighboring beach across the mountain. It's completely unsanitary, like in Goa, but the food is delicious. The scenery is beautiful. We returned to this hotel in 2019 because of the great snorkeling. Nothing remains of the beautiful sea. All the corals and sponges are dead, and there are few fish. This is due to global warming. Now it's just fun to swim among the rocks.

We first came to the hotel by chance, 3 years ago and fell in love with this place for its natural beauty. You have to understand that building a hotel on a cliff, in the jungle, right by the sea, and for everything to work, it must be something brilliant. And for the third time on Koh Tao we choose to stay here, for the third year in a row. We will come back again.

We were not very lucky with the weather, there were strong waves, we were not able to swim in the sea. But the view of the sea from the terrace of the room is mesmerizing. All those who wrote about the bad road to the hotel, you are wrong. The road is excellent, a little steep, with a concrete surface. I recommend everyone to visit this place! The owner of the hotel is a good person, very kind and loves to joke. Thank him for such a beautiful place.

Unfortunately you HAVE to give a star to rate! ‼️WARNING-terrible rip-off‼️ The dirtiest and nastiest hole we have ever seen! NO PHOTO ON trip.com matches the hole that was offered to us there, and that for around 85€/night-an absolute disgrace.. Doesn't trip.com check that?? ‼️don't go‼️ Extremely unfriendly staff at check-in. We left immediately & of course there was no money back! We were so clever that we even forgot to take photos-we just wanted to leave!!

The hotel is literally located far from everything. The road leading to the hotel is more like an extreme driving route, and a taxi ride to or from the hotel to the city costs 600 THB. The hotel itself feels quite outdated, and the photos do not reflect reality. The air conditioning is very basic and does not work properly, makes a lot of noise. There is no hot water. The service is okay. Some rooms have a stunning sea view, while others have no windows at all, the beds are hard and it feels like you’re sleeping over some wires. For those who enjoy stair workouts, this place is ideal, or for those who just want to go snorkeling in the Hin Wong Bay. I would not recommend it unless you are specifically looking for an impractical hotel in a very remote location. Does not offer value to your money.

Beautiful room which was outside and with stunning views of the bay. Snorkelling was good there too. Be mindful of steps - there are a lot and they killed my legs off but was a sacrifice for the view. Could do with more fans and one of the fans the wire was broken so unable to use it. Also, would be a good idea to put the fridge on before customers get there so the fridge is actually cool.

The location is beautiful, but unfortunately the owner is a rude drunk as mentioned in the other reviews. This makes the place one to miss. There are many other guest houses worthy of receiving your money in equally beautiful spots. His sort of behaviour doesn't deserve to be rewarded.
