The view from Over the Moon Luxury Pool Villas is absolutely amazing and definitely the highlight of the stay. Waking up to the panoramic ocean view and watching the sunset from the villa was truly unforgettable. The villa itself is spacious and private, making it a great place to relax. However, I found the pool surface quite rough as it does not have traditional tiles, which made it less comfortable to use compared to other luxury villas. Another downside for me was the presence of large geckos around the villa at night. I understand that the property is surrounded by nature, but if you are not comfortable with reptiles, it can be a bit unsettling. Overall, the incredible view makes this property worth considering, but there is room for improvement in terms of pool comfort and managing wildlife around the villa.

Perfect stay the villa is amazing, we stayed 4 nights and really enjoy our stay. The location is perfect you can come by motorbike the way is not dangerous. The staff help us all the time and they are very friendly. we hope to come back again for another stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights during our Thailand travels and trip to Koh Tao. The Villa is located high up off the main road with steep step access to the villa itself. You will need bike or taxi to access local areas as quite isolated and a steep walk down to the main road. We had to wait for someone to come with the key on arrival despite advising our arrival time. We were advised to get a taxi from the pier to the Villa, cost of which would be reimbursed. This didn’t happen. It was only 300 baht so not a big issue, just the principle. The villa itself was nice. Lovely large lounge:kitchen area, pool area and deck that got the sun all day. There was no air con in the living area only a fan which meant this area was like a greenhouse and very uncomfortable. Air con in the bedroom. Bedding / pillowcases stained. The shower wasn’t very warm and not very good (more like a trickle than a shower) and the black mat under the shower was dirty. On departure we were advised that someone would meet us to assist with our cases and reimburse the 300 baht. No one came which meant my partner had to carry two large cases down the flights of steps himself in the heat. Overall a nice few days in Koh Tao just spoilt by the service provided during our stay.

We had an exceptional stay at Overthemoon Luxury Pool Villas. The view of the ocean from the villa is absolutely breathtaking, a true paradise for nature lovers. The bedding was of outstanding quality, ensuring incredibly restful nights. The villa itself is massive, with well-designed spaces and impeccable attention to detail. Everything was spotlessly clean, which greatly added to our comfort. Additionally, the beach is very close, allowing us to enjoy relaxing moments by the water without having to go far from the villa. Lastly, the service provided by the staff exceeded our expectations: attentive, courteous, and always ready to meet our needs. We highly recommend Overthemoon Luxury Pool Villas to anyone looking for an unforgettable luxury experience in Koh Tao.

What an unreal location. The views from the villa are breathtaking. You have a panoramic view of the mountains and the sea which are stunning. The sun set from the balcony was beautiful. We stayed for 4 nights and arrived by ferry from Koh Samui. We were supposed to have transfer from the ferry to the villa and back however when we messaged the manager on WhatsApp she said to get a taxi. No stress however as it was literally 5/10 mins from the pier. The villa is set up the mountain however the journey was fine as the roads were well established. There’s approx 100 steps to get up to the villa. The person who met us at the villa was very welcoming and carried both of our 30kg cases up to the room (thank you so much again!!) We were given all the info we needed and given a phone with a local sim so that we could call for taxi or food deliveries. They have menus in the room for a few local restaurants who all delivered to our door within 30mins of ordering! The food was delicious everywhere we tried too! The room was stunning and had ample living/dining space. The terrace was the highlight with stunning views and our own private pool with sun loungers. We got the sun from about 2pm til sunset which made leaving the room difficult!! The terrace and pool was completely private too and not overlooked by anyone. The room had 2 large fans too which could be plugged in outside which made sunbathing or sitting out at night pleasurable. The staff were super helpful and organised scooters for our 3 days there and arranged our private long tail boat trip. Riding the scooters was fine too the roads were good and there wasn’t too much traffic to contend with. Sairee beach was a 5 min ride from the hotel where there was plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. If you don’t fancy renting scooters then taxis were pretty cheap at around 300/400 baht. My only regret is that we didn’t spend more time here as it was stunning. Would definitely recommend!
