Ban's Diving Resort Koh Tao

Perfect location!! Just on the beach, with beautiful and accommodating staff!! Fishbowl is attached and great for a night out.

Great location! Unfortunately the rooms didn’t feel that clean and the AC air felt heavy. I would recommend asking where exactly you’re staying, as we were put in a room far away from reception, and it was quite annoying. Also, breakfast quality was really bad

Stayed 3 nights in a Superior Double Room for our honeymoon. Do not go here as a couple — tiny balconies with no privacy, dirty towels, and a lizard even got into our room. Bathroom design is terrible (no curtains, only one shower head), breakfast requires a long walk to a dirty hall, and reception closes at 19:30, only interested in selling diving packages. Rooms are far up steep hills, so be ready to walk. Maybe okay for divers or backpackers, otherwise avoid. Giving it a higher rating since the hotel's main customers aren't honeymoon couples. That's our fault...

I have been here 4 times, but this time is very disappointing, my room type as jungle house it’s very noisy of bathroom exhaust fan, the room is far from the entry must have motorcycle is more comfortable can get in/out to the room. also have the red ants in the room.

Didn’t expect that our room would be so far from the hotel. We had to go by golf car from the reseption to our room, far ut the hill

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The room was great very modern and clean but the room was very far from the main road and nightlife and restaurants - they did warn on the booking that this room is the furthest away from the beach and they didn't lie. Luckily they have golf carts that can take you to the main road and back 24h but is a bit inconvenient. The pool near my room was very luxurious. I would definitely recommend this room if you're just looking for a place to lay your head while you're taking your time in the day to go snorkeling and diving.

Biggest resort in Koh Tao. Great location with 24hr min mart right outside the hotel. Party every night and staff are all very helpful very organize and efficient. Highly recommend. I'll for sure go back.

Bans is a well established resort right in the heart of the main town/strip. Located over two sites it has several polls and offers a wide range of rooms/prices. We were located up the hill so was really nice and quiet, but quick a hike to the rooms. Rooms were spacious and well equipped but were getting a bit tired. Air Con wasn’t working well and rooms were very warm. I understand from others around the pool, with was common. The grounds were groomed immaculately and the service was excellent. During the day the Fishbowl offers some tasty and relatively cheap food, overlooking the beach !! This is a dive resort and almost resembled a factory for diving. Bit too over commercial for my liking, so we booked diving through a quieter dive school. All in all, a lovely resort, wonderful staff and service in some stunning grounds. Would recommend if you are wanting a little luxury.
