Koh Tao Cabana

We had a great stay at Koh Tao Cabana. It is a beautiful place with lots of green, nature and direct access to the beach and a good pool. The breakfast menu and buffet was sufficient for us, choice of pancakes, eggs, fruit, etc. The staff was mostly really friendly, some of them less but only a few that we noticed. Our tree top house was quite some walking and climbing, but we were okay with that. We were all the way at the back, probably because we asked for a silent room. We did not hear any music from the bars as I read in the reviews. The scooter rental was also very convenient and you do need a scooter to go to the rest of the island. The road to the hotel was good, since I also noticed for some other resort further (Dusit) the road gets very steep and gaps in the road. The food menu was okay. We ordered pizza margarita, but that was not what we expected and the town is close, so we mostly went out for food. The water bottles and mini bar were very convenient and supplied every day. I had doubts about the bathroom, since it looks outdoors. It technically is, but they closed it down so there were almost none insects. Expect a huge spider on our last evening. The reception was not 24/7, so we needed to take care of the problem ourselves.

Koh Tao cabana it’s really a beautiful place. Our villa was too high, so we need to climb every time to our room. But still recommend place.

This hotel is surrounded by nature, with plenty of lush plants and a beautiful beachfront location. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a good variety of choices. However, during some mornings of our stay, certain items such as avocados and bananas ran out and were not replenished promptly. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The hotel also provides a convenient shuttle bus service to the pier, which was a nice addition. Our room was located a bit farther from the main facilities, requiring some walking, but it offered a greater sense of privacy and tranquility. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and a great experience at this hotel.

One of the nicest resorts I’ve ever visited. What I like the most is Shampoo and Body shower gel, smell really good. The villa is huge and lovely, bed is comfy, huge bathroom. Free drinks and Snack, nice view. Breakfast is good. The restaurant have a stunning view and chill vibes. The staffs are helpful. Free 15 massage is the best treat. If I had a chance I will go back there again.

I want to leave a review about this hotel. The location is good; the only downside is the loud music in the evening and late into the night coming from the central beach. The room has all the necessary toiletries, including earplugs and razors. The bungalow-style rooms are the best thing here, because overall there are significantly more negatives. The service is not very good — the staff at the reception and in the restaurant seem indifferent. The beach is a bit dirty, with a lot of small stones that make it uncomfortable to walk. The sea is very shallow, and you have to walk quite far to get deep enough to swim. If you just want to lie around and relax like a hippo, it might suit you. The food in the restaurant is of a low standard. The room costs almost $190 per night, but the variety of food is very limited, and the products don’t seem to be of good quality. Cheese at breakfast was even served in its packaging. The only thing that really saves this hotel is the view from the room. We chose an ocean view. The hotel also offers free snorkeling masks.

The hotel is located close to the center which is great but also we heard very loud music until 1 am which wasn’t great. One thing we really appreciated was the fact that everything in the mini bar was included and they thought about the little details. Our room view was great

Stunning hotel with great location . Anyway don’t take rooms from number 40-50 are far away from location 😉

Amazing location, place, staff I recommend to book the room with ocean view
