The Dearly Koh Tao Hostel-Padi 5 Star Dive Resort

I traveled solo and chose this hostel mainly because it offers transportation to different places, which was really convenient. One tip I’d recommend: when searching for a hostel, don’t be afraid to eliminate some options after reading reviews and realizing they may not suit you. You don’t have to force yourself to stay somewhere just because it looks good online. One place I highly recommend is Sairee Beach. If you’re staying here, you should definitely go! I stayed in a shared dorm because the private rooms were mostly full. The dorm beds don’t have curtains, so I used a large beach towel to cover the side of my bed. I personally prefer having some privacy and didn’t want my face to be visible, and this simple trick made me feel much more comfortable. My roommates were also very respectful. The lights were turned off fairly early, and even people who came back later were considerate and didn’t make much noise. The staff were lovely as well. The receptionist who checked me in on my first day was very welcoming. There were also two lovely female staff members I talked to quite often—one with short hair and another with long hair who often wore Muay Thai shorts. I’m sorry I forgot to ask their names, but they were both so kind and friendly. Overall, I had a really good experience here. I would definitely come back again soon! ❤️

I have mixed feelings. What I liked the most was the daily free shuttle to beaches you wouldn't be able to access without a bike. But it's a short visit (from 1:30 till 4pm) so there's barely any time to snorkel and that's it. I didn't like that the mixed dorms don't have privacy curtains. And the bed wasn't very comfortable (it moves when you do). Also, the individual lights make the entire room bright. The accomodation accepts family with young children, which isn't exactly the vibe for a hostel.

I think it is the best hostel ever. It’s very safe and cozy all staffs are friendly and helpful. You can book the diving package from the hotel. The breakfast is good one main course , bread , milk , pancakes and fruits. The toilet is very clean and the facilities are so good. There is a free shuttle bus for going to the beach randomly in each day if you want to go you can tell the staffs. The location is very easy to get some food and stuff. 5 minutes walks to 7-11. I love this hostel so much. I will come back again. The shuttle pick up from the pier is 100 bath per one way.

Great hostel, free shuttle every afternoon to different beaches, and to different bars for sunset. Super friendly staff, food is delicious, pool is very clean and beautiful.

Good price includes breakfast, Shower room is clean, bed comfy and the staff is very friendly and give good recommendations I’ll be back here for sure …love this place a lot
